(Before you come at me saying thatâs BloodPop teasing not Gaga, itâs her album. If her producers are teasing something that means sheâs letting them do it. I can assure you BloodPop cannot just say random **** about Gagaâs future plans lol). We know what Chromatica TV was. It was a website for chatting, playing music and videos. She teased it during the ROM promo and thatâs how we found out about it. Just because you donât remember these things or never learned about them doesnât mean the people that do are delusional or setting themselves up for disappointment. Letâs just end it at that, because Iâm bored of trying to explain this to everyone. You can pretend Gaga didnât promote this album and sell it as something bigger, but donât attack those that donât.

Sepsami 17,781
The fact that Gaga's appeal or image was never meant to be the sexy pop girl also helps 100%, Gaga's career is based on shock value & talent, for that reason I think she will have a very long career ahead of her. And who knows, she might get another big role in massive hit like ASIB Unlike many of her peers, her options are endless

When she got older and political (nothing wrong with that) the ageism + the fact that it directly contradicted the foundation in which she built her public persona hurt her badly imo. I actually think Bullet Train will be a massive hit. Brad will probably get most of the credit, but the rest of the cast (including Gaga) will get their flowers too imo. Where is LG7 3,720
the only big picture i'm thinking about lately   op: I'm very much confident that in 20 yrs from now.. she will be in the likes of Barbara Streisand, Cher, Celine Dion... I mean just look at this woman at her mid 30s and all of her achievements in just a span of 10 years
LilyLark 9,966
Yup. Fans always go "but Madonna"...without recognizing Madonna is an exception and even then her #s aren't that strong anymore. The pop industry is super, super ageist and while some stars can "transform" their "bright young thing" image many can not do so and retain the majority of their fanbase. Even the critics are sort of ageist at times.... I kind of believe that's why Taylor ditched the pink glitter and has transformed her music/style into a quasi Joni Mitchell meets Stevie Nicks vibe after some critics kind of came after her for the visuals/lyrics for Lover. And it's definitely a gendered thing, because there are plenty of male artists in their 30s who don't get deemed immature. I got dragged for this in the past, but I really think Gaga's either going to go more experimental (a la 911) or to a more safe, non EDM sound (You & I, The Edge of Glory) after Chromatica. Fans/critics just tend to not be there for older dance pop girls who are mainstream or even semi-mainstream, but if she goes full on weird the critics (and some fans) will still be there for her imo (look at the rave reviews for the 911 MV). Chromatica in some ways felt like fan service, a final for the dance floor, before critics & fans start sniping at her. And it was a big success despite some fans gripingâa top 5 and a 1# single with the album debuting at #1 and being one of the best selling albums of 2020. Anyway, I could see her being like Cher (known more for her acting) in the long run with albums that are less mainstream (Roisin Murphy, Robyn) or more mainstream but not traditional dance pop.
