Coachella is what it is now, I don't think she'll perform her set at the next Coachella as we already know about her surprise set now. Idk there were a to that could've been but didn't materialise. 

She could have recorded her Coachella set and did it like a "Live from home concert", and adapted the other things to suit the current covid-19 pandemic

I'm just holding out for a reissue from Interscope next year which would take nothing from Gaga besides a post on insta that Bobby could post on behalf of Gaga. I don't personally see the tour going ahead as people from all over the globe will be travelling to see one or more of these six gigs.

like, what kind of promo takes 1.5 years of careful planning? what was gaga supposed to do that took so much time to come up with?
i honestly believed he lied in that aspect  you cant tell me everything got cancelled when every other artist was able to continue promoting their album to some limited extent. i cant imagine we would've gotten much more promo than we did in a world w/o corona. the era wouldve ended in july with the chromatica ball i guess

I think you guys really need to deal with the fact that there's always going to be fans complaining about something and that's never going to change. Deal with it and ignore it, just move on.

either everything was performance / in person based and I'm pretty sure Bobby said they don't like virtual performances or they was gonna do a Lemonade type of rollout (e.g lead, album release, tour) with minimal promo like we eventually got.

While I am also doubtful about the tour going ahead, I don't think your point about people travelling to the shows makes sense.

If people from another country can't go, they will simply sell the ticket to someone who is in the country? With only 6 dates I highly doubt anyone would struggle to resell their ticket.

And with dates in literally 4 countries its not as if they care about accommodating a global audience

Honestly I think it would calm the whole fanbase down if Bobby released a statement regarding Gaga's well being and what's to come of the era or if they've just not planned anything more the era for the time being

You do realise people have travelled from different countries to see Gaga shows in the past don't you? I for one will have to travel to attend the London gig and I have always had to travel to see Gaga perform as she hasn't visited my specific country since 2010 (however I've been lucky that she's always performed just a train journey away.) Yes people can just resell their tickets to another person, however, people will still be travelling from across North America, Europe and the UK to attend these 6 gigs. It's going to take a lot longer than just seven months to vaccinate the entire globe and with certain countries hoarding enough vaccines to vaccinate their population X amount of times over, it's going to take even longer to vaccinate those in need across the globe. My point regarding people travelling to the shows has made sense to a lot of people here on this website so I assume you're the only person who's struggled to understand what I mean.

My point was not that people don't travel for the shows My point was that there are enough fans in each the UK, France, USA and Canada to fill up a stadium on each of those dates.

They're not going to cancel the shows because, for example, someone from Italy has a ticket for the Paris show and can't go because maybe there is still a travel restriction in Italy. If that is the case, then the Italian would simply have to sell their ticket to someone in France - and I'm sure there will be plenty of French fans ready to buy someones ticket from them.

 

The tickets are already almost all sold. It doesn't matter if the ticket holders can actually make the show, they already got your money and as far as they know, you live in the country you got a ticket for.

Look, I understand that there for a little while, she was held back by the pandemic. But many, if not most, other artists found a way around it. Look at Dua and Kylie. They both found creative solutions to the situation and delivered two of the most memorable and event filled eras of recent memory, even pre-pandemic. And it's because of that, that people are upset with Gaga. She really didn't extend much effort to keep things moving forward despite continued promises from her and her team to do so. Yes she was doing other things and I don't blame her for pursuing other projects, but she should've been honest about other things having more of her attention rather than just leaving her album and all of the fans in the dark until there was another two week burst of activity.

What did Kylie even do this era? Gaga had a #1 hit, VMAS moment, Covid relief special, critically acclaimed music video and more.

I always wonder, why create a separate thread. Why not just address it when you see it in the thread you see it happen in.

Also, isn't promo mainly to sell tour tickets, which has been hugely impacted by covid. Why spend any money on promo right now, if the profits are so far away. Not even in the same fiscal year for tax accounting.
