So far 4 out of 44,000 volunteers of the actual vaccine (not placebo) developed face paralysis but

I don't if I'll take the first batches, we still have to see the long terms effects of it. I already suffer from periodic facial paralysis, I don’t know what I'll do tbh.

Not an anti-vaxxer but this story came out today as well. Also, emergency use authorization doesn’t mean full approval. (They’ve only submitted 2 months of follow up, not the usual 6 required for approval per the article).
Makes me slightly suspicious but I’m sure the FDA isn’t just in it for Trumpty Dumpty

Considering that there’s no evidence the vaccine caused that, and especially considering about 4/44,000 people natural developed that in the general population under a similar timeframe, don’t you think it’s irrational to be afraid of it for that reason?

All the politicizing is still super unfortunate, but the scientific consensus on the efficacy and safety of this vaccine is pretty strong at this point. Yes, we'll learn more about it in the long term, but gotta take the good news when they come. Hoping at risk groups quickly get the protection they need.

I'm going to look into the UK and Canada's reasons for certifying said vaccine before I truly make a judgement, but I myself am also somewhat skeptical based upon the scientific studies abnormalities.

about 1-4 out of 10'000 people develop this condition each year though, so i dont really see a link between the vaccine and this. and even if, almost all people recover from Bell's Palsy within a few weeks :)

Sometimes it feels like I've got a war in my mind, I wanna get off but I keep riding the ride
