Her fans celebrate her and lift her up no matter what the project is or what the public perception is like; they just love Taylor and everything she does. We had this from Gaga up until ARTPOP. If you want to know why this changed, just take a look at this site and go through a couple of threads Twitter also give you the awnser

Pennywise 36,079
Also not y'all trying to blame fans for every single thing again In that other thread y'all were saying that she was her own person and we had no business with that, what changed So long ggd, it was nice while it lasted. Reject False Icons 4,769
Probably I will be dragged but... Taylor learned, used and incorporated many things that Gaga did in her prime to keep her fans close to her, one of them being an excellent social media use, somehow Gaga is now left behind in this case, and a kind selfless attitude which is now more distant but I guess still there

I was so proud, man... lol for myself now
zakariah 11,718
she's always been the only pop star to be super close to her fans, no one ever came close tbh, not even gar
Jocega 85
I hate Blastertoyo so much... But anyway, I'll find a way to deal with my anger later. Taylor always has been close to her fans, I don't like her music at all, but I admit that she's good at what she does. I just hate when threads like this are full of negatives comments or "opinions", comparing or criticizing other artists.

Chromatography 10,186
i think the difference of interactions of taylor vs gaga comes down to who actually composes the fan base. for gaga it’s a bunch of crusty men berating a woman online because she’s selling a new lip gloss. i get the impression that a lot of swiftes are young girls who are just thankful to be breathing the same air as her.
