Gagaism 12,471
The irresponsibility jumped out. We’re yet to suffer even more in chaos just because of our own lack of sense and respect. This pandemic is just showing that we still have a long way to get some real evaluation as human beings, which is very sad.

It's not the average person's fault that the government abandoned us. We keep blaming individual morons who refuse to adhere to guidelines and get a lot of play in the press, but the government is proceeding as if the virus doesn't even exist. It's their fault that so many of us have gotten sick and have died. Every other industrialized country on Earth is paying ordinary citizens thousands of dollars a month to stay home. We got $1,200 one time over half a year ago. The problem isn't us. We were left to die.

MelbHawker 6,583
Heartbreaking. My aunty passed away from it last week, & we expect her husband to pass any day now from it. All of her siblings have contracted it too & have been in & out of intensive care.. it’s a really scary time to live in America. I’m in Australia where things are pretty much Covid-free. I truly wish the US had appropriately responded to Covid.. things would be so different for millions of Americans.

Morphine Prince 109,645
The politicization of this virus has single-handedly killed thousands. If the government and the public had all gone on board and worked to end this virus we would be living normally by now. The US has a grossly individualistic society and the government is the same, leaving people on their own to fend for themselves in a time of need. Multiple people should be charged with crimes against humanity for the propaganda and inaction during this pandemic.
Shipper 13,114
Cause it has been about 2 weeks AFTER Thanksgiving. I'm assuming these are all the people who met with family/shopped/ went to big gatherings or was visited by someone who did those things and got Covid-19. The news of the vaccine also made people lax. 🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶
Morphine Prince 109,645
I know so many people who are traveling as we speak. People don’t care. American mentality is a literal disease.

How long do they typically stay in hospitals? 🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶
Serial Chiller 8,044
Americans, and by a lesser extent, the Western world, are truly STRANGE. In Vietnam, we have conservatives. People who are religious, anti-gay, pro capitalism, vaccine skeptics etc. but even among those people, no one thinks that covid is made-up/fake/ overblown/ a conspiracy. Of course there are fringe groups but to see that in the US this is such a prevalent mindset baffles me. Like, what purpose does it serve you to downplay a disease that is killing your people? If anything conservatives should be even more alarmed about covid seeing how their elderly base is most vulnerable. I just don’t understand Americans. INNA 3,788
Over time, my fear of Covid hasn’t decreased at all, I would say. It is unacceptable to become comfortable when your life, as well as countless others, could be at stake. I feel very little sympathy for anyone unnecessarily traveling or going out looking to have a good time and ending up with this. Of course a lot of us still have to go to work and get things done... However, boredom and stir-craziness are lame excuses for not disciplining yourself and doing what you KNOW you should. We have had so much time to adapt our lifestyles to this new normal. Selfishness rules this nation. When I hear my coworkers talking about going to get drinks after literally every shift, it makes me angry, NGL. Some are also the ones preaching pandemic safety measures, and turn around and break their own rules. The government has abandoned us completely, yes but does that make it okay for any of us individuals to abandon our responsibilities to one another? Shoutout to everyone here who has hunkered down, accepted reality and done their best to do their part in curbing the virus. Thank you for caring. fragment-fragment--bul-uh...scab-uh..fragment-foot, bullet fragment foot bich!
