Coronavirus was found in Italian boy, four, in November 2019

A four-year-old boy in Italy was infected with coronavirus as early as November 2019, it is believed, in the latest piece of evidence that the disease was spreading around the world well before China acknowledged the outbreak. 
The child, who lived near Milan and had not been travelling abroad, came down with a cough on November 21 last year and was taken to a hospital's emergency wing days later.
On December 5, 2019, a swab was taken from his throat, and that specimen has since tested positive for the virus that causes Covid-19. 

But the virus went undetected in Italy until late January, only weeks before the contagion spiralled into Europe's first major outbreak. 

China has long been accused of covering up the epidemic in its early stages, thereby denying other countries time to prepare for the onslaught of infections. 

The latest discovery comes three weeks after a study by Italy's National Cancer Institute which suggested the virus was spreading as early as September 2019. 
Researchers found that dozens of volunteers involved in a trial from September until March had developed antibodies against Covid-19 well before February.

The virus probably started long before it was detected, let alone announced officially. I'm guessing around the summer of 2019 in Wuhan.. they probably will find more evidence among these lines in future years just like how discovered HIV+ in dead people decades before it was actually discovered and so on.

And also, how would that affect how we view it?

I haven't researched well enough, but people posted pictures of how the death toll for normal viruses came way way down (compared to previous year) while coronavirus went up up. Meaning the numbers were being mishandled and misdiagnosed.

And if corona was from November, and it's being treated as very very contagious, how come the full hammer came down in its full weight up until March/June? If it was that contagious we would have seen big big numbers in December and January, not half a year later, when media bombarded every tabloid news and everything that corona was so so so bad?

It's definitely sketchy. 

I'm blaming the worldwide media and we should make them accountable, if all of this was just fear mongering, which I think it is. I'm not saying we shouldn't take care of ourselves, I'm saying media psychologically ****ed us over.

No. Its interesting to see the orgins of it. But it does not change how we view it. Covid was huge back in December 19/January 2020. China went into lockdown in like December, and Italy went into lockdown in January. Numbers were ridiculous with many dying in January. It didn't take that long in these countries for it to infect a lot of people. And even still, a contagious virus still takes time to infect people. You're starting with one person... like that one person will not be the cause of a whole country coming down with cases within a few days. It doesn't work like that. 

And that principle is the same when it comes to the world. It takes time to infect people who then travel who then take it to other countries. Then it takes time for it to become a thing in your country and so on and so forth. Nothing about it is sketchy. Covid-19 is contagious and deadly, no matter where it started or when it orginated. November 2019 makes sense

Okay, but it was still a big thing back in January of this year with both countries reporting large cases. Italy's numbers were growing in February, and then lockdown happened in March. But it still doesn't change how we view it
