Mechanics in Cyberpunk 2077 cause seizures for people with epilepsy

The game contains a mechanic that has SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED to cause seizures in people with epilepsy. For those that are prone to epileptic episodes, I want to offer a PSA on some of the epileptic triggers seen in Cyberpunk 2077. it’s not “designed to give seizures for people with epilepsy.” the way you’re wording it sounds like they’re intentionally trying to induce seizures in people. they’re not. pretty sure almost all games have some sort of seizure warning while it’s loading or on the back of the box.

yeah that doesn’t change anything. if you truly think a gaming company that designed a game to make money is intentionally hurting its players (i.e. its profits), then i don’t know what to tell you. i can’t believe i’m even arguing about this.

This ain’t even the typical ‘seizure warning’ that we get on normal games. cyberpunk 2077 is literally using very specific light patterns to trigger epilepsy. Literally an hour ago the epilepsy charity just calls for urgent safety update.

most games contains mechanics that can cause seizures, it's not intentional, it's just how it's works.

It's like to complain about motion sickness.. I get it from every game with a camera, sometimes I'm literally puking because I moved the camera lol

Their only problem is that if they didn't put a warning before the players starts to play, if they did and they player still went on with the game, it's the player's problem.

read my reply just above your. I’ve explained why it’s not like the typical seizure warning that we get in most games. I just hope they patch it up when it comes out.

The way this is worded makes it sound like the game dev has intentionally designed this to hurt people.
