I don’t know why I assumed it would be playable in third person. I thought it would play more like Fallout 4 where you get the option. Kind of a bummer, but I’m still excited to jump in and explore.

Strung out for another taste

I assumed that too, which really is a bummer tbh,  because I like third-person games more usually :sis:

So long ggd, it was nice while it lasted.

I have a friends who beats it like daily :smh:

OMG SAME.

I woke up this morning with a cramp in my thumb. Inevitably I get him down to a quarter health on the second form and then I bite it. It’s SO hard but I think I can’t get anymore titan blood to level up without beating himmmmmm

OT: this looks incredible but as a Nintendo fan boy I’m happy with my Switch atm and will wait for some discounts and patches to branch out to this.

I once got him down to a few hits and then died, it was terrible :cryga:

I just said goodbye to my bank account and bought the game. Normally I'd wait for a sale, since it definitely will happen in a few months, but I REALLY need the escapism right now :selena:. It is coming in two days. Are any of you gheys gonna play? Are you excited? Do you think it'll be disappointing since they made us wait and wait only to crunch their work in a short amount of time? I love everything futuristic/transhumanist, so my bussy is READY. I really hope it won't disappoint (and will be easier to navigate through than the Witcher games) :bear:

The Grimes song for the game:

Edit: As someone shared in this thread, apparently the game creators made problematic/transphobic commentary during the promotions, and there is somewhat trans-fetishism in the game - or at least it is perceived as such by some people. I didn't know this before buying it, however, if you are sensitive to it (as I usually am), you may want to think about it first.
Edit 2: There are seizure-inducing scenes in the game, with some scenes extremely similar to light patterns doctors use to knowingly cause seizures, so be careful y'all.

Just to quote the last part of this post. These are very old news, at least a year or so back and they have already explained themselves. Nothing they did was problematic.

They are exploring a world with less humanity. This game is all about corporations taking advantage of regular people, sexualities, looks, transgendered people for profit. There is nothing problematic about a commentary about today's society to some extent.

If you don't want the game because of it then of course don't get it but this game is not problematic.

I would also like to know where you got that second edit information from.

Now that I got that out of the way, I managed to get a hold on a PS4 collectors edition a few months ago 😍😍

Is it the first person part? Maybe they have an epileptic effect or something

Yes. Our brain know we're not moving, but somehow we're moving (in the game), so it tries to fix that, and so we get dizzy.

I didn't know all that at all, that's why I put it there. I've been away from the discussion about the game because I didn't want anything spoiled tbh. For the second part, the source is:

https://www.gameinformer.com/2020/12/07/cyberpunk-2077-epileptic-psa

They say that at one part the lights are extremely similar to those designed to induce seizures, and the reviewer herself had a seizure while playing.

Born This Way

Even though I know I'm going to like it, I've spent this week lowering my expectations just in case lol. The main storyline is a lot sorter than what I expected but reviewers are saying you can get a lot more out of the game through everything else you can do. Also, I don't want to be one of those people canceling the whole company/game for some idiot transphobic intern they had running their Twitter who they fired or anything but I have a sinking feeling about queer rep for this. I hate to say but in my bones I feel like this game is gonna be annoyingly straight and only like 3 characters will be LGBT and I won't get to have a Bioware level boyfriend. But I'm sure there will be lots of sex scenes for the straights :mark: But whatever I guess.

I am concerned about playing this on a base Xbox One. I really want to experience this first at the best it can run but as we know new gen consoles are just not available. It's like when EA released Dragon Age Inquisition for cross generation when they really had no business trying to sell that game on PS3/360.
