G.R.L. is back with original members + Jazzy departure-- UPDATE: Paula left

G.R.L. debuted as a 5-member girlgroup in 2013. The group was created by Robin Antin (also creator of Pussycat Dolls).
The group consisted of Lauren, Natasha, Paula, Emmalyn and Simone

They released singles such as Vacation and Ugly Heart.

 

In September 2014, member Simone sadly ended her life. 

In January 2015,  they returned with a song for Simone, Lighthouse

in June of 2015, the remaning 4 members decided to split up. 

1 year later in June-August 2016, it was announced GRL would return in a different line up. 
Original members Lauren and Natasha returned along with the addition of new member Jazzy. and together they released Are We Good

 

A few years pass by, they have a tour and whatnot and then disappear once again. 

Untill last month, November 2020.
GRL started fresh on Twitter and opened a TikTok account where the original members were seen rehearsing, that same month in a interview Jazzy confirmed that she was no longer part of the group.

"Ugly Heart" and "Lighthouse" are bops! I am glad the "new" member is gone. It didn't work. The original line-up is great!!

It will be interesting to see how this all works. Are they signed again to the same label or doing it on their own now?
