JudasInTheDark 3
Guys so I have a dilemma. My friend is going to France and Spain in a couple of months and asked me what I wanted her to bring me. Obviously I thought immediately to Gaga items that I can't get in the US... So what kind of things could I ask for her to look for in like fnac or something? And do they HMV in those countries?? Like idek what I'm doing haha :toofunga:

famous 467
So I'm starting my collection, and I want to know, what items are rare ? :P Among the rarest items would be her pre-fame EP "Red and Blue", though that is nearly impossible to find, and there are a lot of fakes out there. It was handed out in New York City in 2006 before she was famous, so there are verrrry few copies floating around . A more attainable (if you have a big wallet) uber rare collectible item is The Fame USB. It was released in 2009 in a limited quantity. They pop up on eBay every now and then, well they actually often sit there for a while because they're usually very expensive. There's a few there right now listed for $600-$1000 I believe, though sometimes you can get lucky and find a cheaper one. Other rare items off the top of my head: - 'Eh, Eh' Australian single - 'Just Dance' Remixes German pink promo vinyl - 'The Fame' UK HMV slipcase - 'The Fame Monster' Australian digipack (silver writing) - 'The Cherrytree Sessions' US 'Borders Edition' - 'The Fame Monster' Super Deluxe edition (numbered/limited to 10,000) (unnumbered promo copy is even more rare) - 'Born This Way' Collector's Edition (numberd/limited to 3000) - 'Just Dance' German trend single - 'Telephone' European promo Good, relatively easy items to start with IMO if you're just starting to collect Gaga are: - French cardsleeve singles (for all singles from TF + TFM and Applause...none were made for BTW) - 7" picture disc vinyls (for all singles from TF + TFM, You and I, MTN, and Applause) - Japanese singles box (cool release: a boxset of CD singles from TF + TFM) eBay and discogs.com are good places to look :). Good luck!!

Like idek what I'm doing haha I've been there two month ago, you should go with her! I can't remember finding anything special tho (maybe the regular applause), and I've been to at least 4-5 stores, some of them were second hand. but maybe you will find, I've only been to Barcelona :)

Secondly, you said vinyls from all TF singles, but is there an Eh Eh vinyl? Thank you! Edited February 5, 2014 by ithinkweed

No vinyl for Eh Eh because eh eh was only a single for australia and france, not really for the UK which produced all the 7" vinyl And yes, the MTN single is quite rare because it wasn't produced a lot, and it was a big flop in sales …

ChicaSkas 23,218
Also, promo posters and anything used to advertise her is rare. I collect a lot of promotional memorabilia like bus stop posters, street art, huge movie theater posters, Macy's, Walmart, Target store displays, ect.. Do YOU own the 4' by 6' Perfect Illusion promo Poster? Will pay you for it. Pic: http://i.imgur.com/UWuzumk
