drinkmytears 2,332
I went to FYE and they had the album preorder and as a place holder it was the Applause cover, as pictured before. They let me have it, and I just put it in my own CD case!

Paper Planes 340
Sorry, fellow collectors, but I need to go on a small rant here. I hate when people ask me why we (by we, I mean the majority of us collectors) buy multiple versions of the same album. That's about as dumb of a question as asking a coin collector why they have more than two different quarters. Each edition is unique and something that we want; we don't just go to Target and buy 16 identical copies of one Gaga album Sure, everybody says that we could be using the money in a more "productive" manner, but that could be said with any type of collector, whether it be a music collector, Beanie Babies collector, or baseball card collector. It's a HOBBY. We're not trying to make profit, we're trying to enjoy ourselves; that's what a hobby is all about. In a society where it's perfectly normal for a teenager to drop $60 on an X-Box game that they will play for about two weeks and then buy another one, it shouldn't be that strange for me to buy six different Gaga albums for $10 a piece. Sorry, I had to let that out somewhere. [/rant] Edited November 11, 2013 by Nickster delete it fat
