BUtterfield 8 41,466
The flavor of the Gaga Oreos are regular golden Oreos flavor ew why couldn’t it just be original?

Leoooo 2,284
Does anyone remeber the old interview where the interviewer mentioned her having a penis and she refused to answer the question? They asked her about Beyonce teaming up with nike or something and she said "I dont think theres anything wrong with celebrity endorcements, I just want to put my money into the show" Hopefully thats what she'd going to spend this dollar on. OriginalMonster 80
I may be reaching here but... In a way this feels like ARTPOP in it's original sense of being the reverse of POPART. Warhol took the soup can off the grocery store shelf and put it on the canvas, bringing popular culture into art. Gaga is taking her art out of the studio and putting it on the grocery store shelf, bringing art into popular culture. I imagined something like this (art incorporated into grocery items) when she originally described the concept of ARTPOP but couldn't really picture it in practice with music until now. Perhaps it is just a sponsorship, but I like to think maybe some of that vision lives on.

She should partner with an up and coming brand for a product that is somehow relevant. This is pretty ridiculous.

LilyLark 10,104
I can't with fans freaking out over this. Every big star does a cash grab (and I initially thought this was a charity thing for Gags based on the "initiative"). Taylor had Papa John's & credit cards, Bey had Reebok & diet vegan food & Pepsi, even FKA Twigs has done sh*t for Nike & Google, etc. Y'all need to stop holding her up to these impossible standards that all the other big pop girls would fail. Gaga likely has an insanely high overhead (remember people writing about her 24/7 security teams) and this is an easy way for her to get cash....Unless she's saying "you can only listen to a certain Chromatica song if you buy Oreos"...who gives a flying f*ck? *Really, what other fan base acts this way? Reminds me of when some of y'all were dragging her vocals—despite her receiving glowing reviews of her live shows—and it popping up on PopCrave and becoming a "viral" thing. I could sort of understand y'all dragging her if this was the credit card scheme (look, I love Taylor but it's a bit yikes that credit card holders get certain perks for her stuff)....but even then it would be a stretch. StrawberryBlond 14,872
Promo's promo at this point. At least she doing something different. I don't see any other celebrity endorsement of Oreos creating their own version to promote their album. And if it's definitely going to result in a Sour Candy video, who cares what helps promote it? I just hope they sell these outside America, although it carries a US exclusive promotion, so maybe not. Of course I wish she was doing something more substantial than Oreos but if it keeps Chromatica's name out there and is going to help launch Sour Candy, let's do it. To any of you saying that she's too good for such an endorsement, remember that MJ and Madonna have done so many ads themselves and if it's good enough for the most iconic male and female soloists of all time...
