It came in May to promote Chromatica and hyped up BP’s comeback as well. Now that both albums are out what is the point? And before you say ‘for the fans’ oh hell nah everything with this song gotta ge cosigned by BP and their company is not gonna do it without any tangible commercial potential. I doubt at this point they are looking for any commercial success with a single. I think they just saw that fans wanted Sour Candy and they were like "well". It would be cool if they released an extended version or added someone else to the track to freshen things up, but the song is perfect as it is anyway so no complaints from me if they don't.
