Cardi B has been slammed after throwing a Thanksgiving celebration at her house that included 12 kids and 25 adults despite the COVID pandemic. The 28-year-old rapper caused a stir when she revealed she held a nearly 40 person gathering on Twitter on Sunday morning, calling the occasion 'lit.'

 

She apologized after fans were outraged online, saying: 'Sorry my bad' 

But she later backtracked saying people were 'trying tooo hard to be offended' 

In the run up to Thanksgiving, health officials had warned Americans not to hold huge parties, amid fears that the holiday could cause an explosion in virus cases

As of Sunday 93,238 Americans were hospitalized with the virus, according to the COVID Tracking Project

Celebrating are doing big gatherings meanwhile I'm being super careful about the 4-people "gathering" I'm planning for NYE at home (2 of which are me and my sister who lives in the same house anyway) I HATE IT HERE

I mean... girl... just don't tell the whole world that you're doing it. Even if they were being safe, double testing 1 week prior, private flights, social distancing at the event, etc, don't brag to the whole world that you're rich enough to do that when they're struggling so hard at home alone, being responsible and not being with their families for the holidays. Also just... forgo it this year like everyone else. It's the right thing to do

Cardi has been a disappointment lately I really thought she was different seeing how she was very vocal about protecting people and such. 

Celebs are just sooo hypocritical. They tell their followers this and that but apparently it doesnt apply to them. 

People are losing jobs/ dying yet it seems a party is Soooo damn important.
