If you release a song in the middle of December all the "release" hype goes to waste because people mostly want to listen to christmas music. Unless she pulls a Christmas themed Babylon video or whatever for me it makes little sense to release it now (after a 3 month drought on top of that). I'll be happy if she does, but it seems so weird, that being said they just release stuff and then ignore it for months and months so it doesn't seem that they are worried (or clever) about the commercial side of things. 

At this point I think she’s releasing stuff for her fans tbh...maybe she’s waiting for a possible re-release and this will contribute her:the hype will be revived again,she can submit for Grammys 2022,it will be good for the ball(I really hope that the rumours about side b with Sophie songs are true)

I trust @BabylonHooker. We should be patient (I know we have been for a very long time) but there's nothing we can do... and things change. So hopefully this visual is coming in 2 weeks time and let's see where it takes us

I don’t see the label doing a reissue for the album. I don’t see Gaga promoting it either. There’s zero Grammy hype, so that’s that.

I mean, Interscope reissued the Selena Gomez record, and its done far worse in terms of presence and hype this year. Even The Weeknd had a re-issue. BloodPop & co. were definitely hinting at one coming at some point before the album had been released. The growing industry trend has been to drop a few extra songs at a later date for a quick boost, so I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s off the cards just yet.

honestly I don't care if Gaga promotes a reissue I just want new content which we know exists (SOPHIE tracks, Babylon (Early Version) demos etc)

reissues are a thing now for a quick cash grab which pleases both the fans and the record labels. I expect a reissue at some point to be honest and as you said BloodPop confirmed* that they planned to finish off the SOPHIE tracks and release them.
