JLO: this is about empowering women and make them feel good and confident with themselves.

Also JLO: let's make it a multi-billion dollars company. Then make more multi-billion dollars companies

She said what all artists and celebrities are thinking...at the end of the day...when you have fame, beauty, money...the only thing to do is start making all your passion projects and make them as successful as possible...because success is what makes people happy

Yeah, of course it's all about money. No matter how many "deep meanings" artists try to put on it, it's always about money, money, money (.mp3).

Why are rich people like this? An empire... for what? Money and brand awareness is fleeting and meaningless in the large scheme of things. Major eye-roll.

Also the emphasis on being billionaires is disgusting.

At least she’s being honest about it. No artist goes into a business without money being the top priority. Especially in today’s world where we’re seeing people make hundreds of millions off of some chemicals for the face.

J.Lo has always been business driven and sort of ruthlessly money hungry. She's always managed to use her star power for financial gain more than for influence or for artistic endovers. It's not a bad thing at all. Some artists prefer detaching themselves from the business world and sustaining their lives solely through art, others like a mix of art and business (like Gaga) and then there are those who I feel like do art to expand their brand and name recognition for their true passion which is business (like J.Lo). She's a smart lady and honestly we need more people of color billionaires in the world to help diversify the influential landscape. Billionaires have a huge sway in american politics and society at large so having more people of color who started from very little like J.Lo and her husband is great for America (especially for Latino Americans). Will they reach a 1 billion net worth? I'm not sure but J.Lo is already one of the richest popgirls in history and her husband is very business oriented and invested in a lot of succesful businesses so let's see. Maybe a decade from now we will get a legit article from Forbes with J.Lo on the cover as a REAL billionaire :golfclap:

She is honest and she said what other celebrities entering businesses think of. If she can, I say go for it.

It shows how our society works where more money = more success. It's like doing nothing with your money and not making it grow is like seen as being lazy. It is sad we don't celebrate people who are just content with what they have and what they have accomplished and once they see you stop growing financially or be in the eyes of the media, you will be considered as a fad or a has been.

What's the difference? Honestly I'd like to know.

Weird how she executive produced her self into being one of the most award nominated actresses of this last year. So that comment of yours I underlined is completely false. The fact is that she produces her own work. 50 year old latina actresses aren't in huge demand in Hollywood so she makes her own work. She is out there because she has produced everything she works on artistically.
