Gaga offered Marvel Role?

They've been allegedly trying to get her in a super-hero movie for years... Even Margot Robbie tried to drag her into the mess that was Birds of Prey. I'll probably have the Little Marvelers on my back, but I'm glad she isn't blindly saying yes to anything they're throwing at her. I can understand the appeal of having Gaga in a mega blockbuster, but... quite frankly, on an acting viewpoint, none of this is particularly interesting or challenging. I'm not sure this is what our girl is looking for.

Dazzler already in final X-Men movie and palyed by Halston Sage. MCU will likely not gonna use that character anytime soon for their version of X-Men.

I hope not. I know this sounds snooty, but I’d rather she not dilute her acting brand by working with Marvel. I really have no need to see her shooting off cringy one-liners and using CGI super powers

Dazzler is the least interesting character in the marvel universe, the obsession with her is only because she look like Gaga.

She didn't, but that's because she was inherently interested in the project because of how much it meant to her. She also formed a really tight bond with Bradley.

Even though I loooooove Marvel, let's face it, it's a kinda a factory for these big budget superhero films, and Gaga just doesn't seem like someone who would want to be a part of that. I'm sure she would probably admire it from afar, from I don't think she'd want to be controlled the way that Marvel likes to control their movies and actors. 

If she is going to be a part of a MCU movie, it'll definitely be for a supporting role.

Times are different now. Back then most actors where typecast and ended up playing similar roles. Now things are different and many actors are able to do a variety of roles

It's still a thing to this day... Tiffany Haddish, Rebel Wilson, Emma Roberts... hell the other day I saw a tweet about Elizabeth's next projects and she's playing a woman on the verge of a breakdown in all of them!

some people were already saying ASIB is not a big stretch for her, she better not be playing another singer any time soon!

Yup. She was (allegedly) pursued hard for a role in BOP from various people associated with the DCEU & various Marvel people have also allegedly wanted her. The DCEU rumors were backed up by film journos from major outlets, so considering those rumors were likely true it's not hard for me to believe the Marvel rumors are also true....especially considering Feige spent time with her, she'd be perfect for Dazzler (which has reverted to Marvel), etc.

But...I agree that Dazzler isn't particularly challenging and might lead to more type-casting for Gaga. Also, Gaga seems to be aiming at more "serious" movies by signing up for the Gucci film (I suspect she had a lot of offers after ASIB and the fact she decided on an Oscar baity film seems telling imo). That said, it might not be as "challenging" but I feel like it would be fun to see Gaga in a romantic comedy.

*There definitely is a history of pairing actors together once they've had a hit (Emma and Ryan, JLaw and Bradley, etc.) so it wouldn't surprise me if she was offered Lylla from Guardians of the Galaxy....

Agree....Dazzler is sort of fun but I feel like a stand alone film about her would flop because she isn't the most interesting character....and her powers are weird.
