I don't like or dislike The Weeknd enough to have a strong opinion. I like his songs, but I'm not like a huge fan of anything.

I think she's got a little bit of a point. I mean, he'll probably do well with casual fans, which is what the Super Bowl is, tbh. I mean, it's not like 70% of crowd in 2017 were Little Monsters or anything like that  But when I think of the Super Bowl halftime show, Abel isn't the first person that comes to mind.

He's literally the biggest male pop artist atm, isn't she supposed to get the pulse of pop culture to make her little show? I don't even know why we're listening to what she has to say, I mean except trash talking other people with an actual talent, what is this woman's purpose in life exactly?

No we definitely need a solo artist. I loved this year’s Super Bowl because Shakira and JLO did a great job but pairing artists that aren’t in a band is weird and unnecessary. Imagine if they got Gaga to share the stage with someone? (Colby O’Donis of course)

The only thing I can agree on is the fact either J-Lo or Shakira could have done it on their own. Still doesn't mean Abel needs to share the stage with someone (tho with all the features in his catalogue, I wouldn't say a surprise guest is out of the realm of possibilities).

She's right tho...he would need A LOT of special effects and dancers to make an exciting Superbowl performance...then again...he probably wasn't their first choice being its gonna be done virtually and it won't be that epic and engaging so maybe some bigger names declined for this upcoming year

The Weeknd has arguably had the biggest era out of all pop artists this year, I'm not sure what y'all are on about.
