Even though I wanted LM to get it, you can't deny the achievement. For an album that doesn't have a hit from it, not even a top 40, it's incredible that she's got the fastest selling of the year. Kylie fans are even more devoted than I thought. But I never thought she'd top Gaga's sales. How can Gaga have a #1 song on the week the album came out and that still wasn't enough? I'll take her going to #1 with an album that doesn't do it for me but topping Gaga's achievement is just a bit too much. Disco is nowhere near the level of Chromatica.

It's YOUR OPINION. Personally I like Chromatica more, but it's MY taste.

Kylie is around for 32 years and her fans are really devoted, We had a record to break. Not everything is about putting a number one song. Some artists work better at selling albums. Also Kylie didn't even had the tour bundle to help.

Kylie is over 50 now, she is a female, so she won't top the charts anymore, some radios even speak it out loud that they won't play her songs because of her age.

People fell in love with Kylie in the UK during the 80's with her role in the soap opera Neighbours, she went and became a pop star. She has over 50 singles and most of them went into the top40, and I dare to say most of them went into the 10, her only problem is ageism, her fans are still here, she performed in more countries than even Madonna, she has even an OBE.

I'm so happy for her.  She's a lifer in dance pop, and it's so awesome and gratifying to see a woman in her 50s be successful in the pop music industry (an industry that starts referring to women over thirty as "legacy acts"). A trailblazer.

And seeing this gives me hope for women in the future to be able to do their thing without the expectation that they have to be either "how do you do fellow kids?" and cozy up to like, whoever the Drake is of the future, or just flat out retire. To continue making the music that they want to make without people being like "that's just for the youths."

This is the music she's always made, and it's freaking cool to see that if a woman in her 50s wants to continue to make quality horny dance pop, she can, she will, and she'll be sucessful at it. Gives me hope for Gaga and others.
