FfFfFfFF 55,966
This day in 2019, FKA twigs released her sophomore album Magdalene. Musically, the record differs from its predecessor LP1 in the sense that is more downtempo and baroque-oriented - while preserving at the same time the experimental production twigs is know for. The album was supported by 4 singles: the ethereal piano ballad Cellophane, the trap-influenced Holy Terrain, the dichotomous Home with You and Kate Bush-esque art pop track Sad Day. The record also includes huge fan-favorites such as Mary Magdalene, Mirrored Heart and Fallen Alien. Artwork What are your favorite song off this album? What is your opinion on it and its place in FKA twigs growing discography? Did some of the songs perhaps grow on you since your first listen? How does it compare with LP1/ her previous projects? share your thoughts bellow.
