However, the Democrats really need to start from scratch during the next elections because it's not been clicking. The fact that it was THIS close in the votes between Biden and a wanna-be Dictator is just sad, and not a big win for us Dems. We can't have another Trump. People trusted Trump because of his decades being a celebrity and alleged good business man. He wasn't some random politician (charismatic or not). He also wasn't a politician period. That was another big asset to him, being an outsider. It's like lightning striking in a bottle. Trump was never the real threat. We have Mitch McConnell who has been playing the long game and seriously smart, calculating, and patient. He scares me much more than Trump ever did. The Democrats' shrinking majority in the House and failure to capture the Senate will make it impossible for them to be complacent. The example of Stacey Abrams will not be lost on them either, how crucial it is to create, energize and excite new voters. That means they need a change of script and they know it.
