This is arguably one of the most underrated Gaga songs ever. Can we just take a moment to appreciate this AMAZING song? Both studio version AND acoustic version are beautiful! Hope she performs it again. My personal favorite song of Born This Way.

A Very Gaga Holida

“Oh my HAIIIIAIIIIAIIIIR” is the best vocal moment of Gaga's discography. Fight me. :huntyga:

I LOVE the bridge idc idc. As a nerdy gay 14 yr old with no friends, it broke my heart.

Spoiler

I just want to be free, I just want to be me
And I want lots of friends that invite me to their parties

LITERALLY HEARTBREAKING

This song has such amazing layering it’s insane. Listening to the stems is like an out of body experience. :tony:

Honestly, this is one of my all time favorite songs.

Out of all the songs on Born This Way, this one sends me back to high school the fastest and instantly reminds me of how alone and lost I felt back then. I feel these lyrics deep in my soul. I remember having fights with my parents about how long I could have my hair.

I legit remember getting into a fight with my dad, me running out of the house, slamming the door and driving off crying to "Hair" when I was a junior in high school. I cried so much to this song.

I don't know what it is about this song that will forever make me emotional.

It's f*ucking beautiful and the energy it elicits is ELECTRIC.

That transitions between the chorus into the 2nd verse? OMGGG that guitar gets me GOING. The bridge is absolutely beautiful, it truly makes me cry. This song has some of her best vocals ever.

I could talk about this song alllllll day. Hair is easily in my top 3 on BTW.

Honestly, it's such a corny song, but I think that's where most of it's charm stems from.

It's probably on the lighter end of the album, which is good, as it is a nice offset to the rest of the (surprisingly) darker material.

I think this, and Scheisse, stand as her best collaborations with RedOne, imo!

3 points in and ready for more

And yet some fans here keep hating on Redone because "he's using the same stems everytime" which is a very stupid narrative ..

I still feel the same as u everytime i listen to the instrumental of judas.. hair or sheiße .

He's truly a GENIUS.

I’m sure. It’s too important and beautiful of a song to not be. I remember Gaga singing a part of it at the JWT.

it makes me emotional to this very day
Born This Way will forever be my favorite Gaga album no matter what
not only because of its diverse and incredibly refined production
but because it was released at a time when I was a 11/12 yo struggling with my own sexuality and having a definitive hard time trying to come to terms with myself.
i can't imagine how my life would have been if Born This Way didn't exist
