Trying to fix demographic challenges with ever increasing numbers does have its down sides The main growing cities consistently fail to keep up with housing needs and other critical infrastructure like transportation, roads and even hospitals in some cases This must be why in Canada many people in skilled trades or construction make as much as doctors. So much construction and they still can't keep up Most ppl I know in construction all make $30 to $40 an hour I gotta be honest, this analysis is a bit skewed. No blue collar makes as much as doctors really. Even white collars in construction doesn't make as much as doctors unless they're high level (ie. Directors, VPs, Group Heads, or C-Suites). $40/hour makes 78000 gross per year by 37.5 hours/week * 52 weeks. Which is about 2,200 net bi-weekly - that's much much less than doctors. That's even less than many senior titled non-manager white collars get at big 5 banks (RBC, TD, Scotia, CIBC, BMO)...

I meant almost not the same since I know most doctors crack $100,000 or more Also it was a figure of speech. When it comes to common jobs the general population has it's the high paying one... But Naturally there's a long list of specific careers that pay more Sorry if I was confusing
