USPS did not deliver 27% of South Florida's Mail-in ballots

The United States Postal Service failed to deliver thousands of absentee ballots around the country before the cut-off times — and one of the worst failures occurred in South Florida, where 27 percent of mail-in votes may have never been received, according to new data released Wednesday.

The news comes as Postmaster Louis DeJoy is facing widespread criticism for not complying with a federal judge order to deliver more than 300,000 ballots that mysteriously disappeared just before Election Day.

Ballots not delivered by the cut off time will be rejected.

The news also comes as President Donald Trump complained of election fraud after Biden pulled ahead in Wisconsin and Michigan.

How many total Florida ballots?

Well get them in and count them! Didn't Trump win Florida?

A lot of states have rules that say they won't be counted if they weren't received by end of election day, so no many of them unfortunately won't count.

This is bad if indeed true! How incompetent.

Shouldn't this be regarding as tampering with the election?

The governor of FL is a Trump fan and will do what he can to give him the state. This is disgusting.

This was another one of the GOP's attempts to turn the election in their favor. Basically sabotaging the USPS months in advance of the election so things like these could happen. I'm SO glad it failed, but my god, people should go to jail for this.

I’m so sure that NO ONE will be punished for this and it’s so sad. :eww: They get away with everything thankfully they still flopped.

inb4 Trump is using this as proof to press charges and stop the counting but ends up having only FL to put those absentee ballots being counted into the report #karma

It's not incompetent, it's mission accomplished by the corrupt Trump guy working at USPS.  It was specific states and counties by the looks of it, so 100% intentional cheating that worked in Florida and (probably) North Carolina.

Too true. Incompetent was probably the wrong word to use.

The key to having receiving the mail in ballots was to be one of the first to ask. I'm from Miami-Dade and asked back in August. My family were some of the first to receive them, while some friends never received theirs.
