I also think it has to do with her social circle to be honest. She used to be more New York and now she's 100% a Cali girl if that makes any sense. The frequent Epione visits say it all.

I just really don't know why she wants to feel "relatable" and like a "regular girl" all the time when we know she's not and that's perfectly okay! She's relatable to us and most people because of her creative mind, mental struggles and acceptance of flaws, not because she wears sweatpants, drinks wine with her girls and has a country accent. It's like she hates "Lady Gaga" so much she's going overboard trying to compensate the GP for it.

I’ve noticed this exact same sassy head Maneuvering, theatrical gestures type of behavior too. I thought it was odd, and it still is. Especially during the ASIB interviews and some of the videos we see of her. It really comes across as a fake personality tbh.

I see earlier Gaga as a person with a lot of unprocessed trauma, addiction issues and the whole world was behind her, so it was probably never really her, as sad it is to say. 
 

She also takes an antipsychotic which obviously will change how you act.

Well, she felt completely destroyed after ARTPOP to the point she wanted to quit music forever... so everything that came after that was a result of a VERY hard and risky work and a lot of effort. Gaga is so good in what she does, it truly feels effortless from her. Can you imagine the amount of pressure she went through since the Sound Of Music tribute, Jazz album and performances, the next album following ARTPOP, SuperBowl and finally the biggest pressure ever which was ASIB. 

I can definetely understand her being so overwhelmed because her hard work paid off!

I’ve felt this way since the Super Bowl era. I’ve felt it’s a mixture of getting older and mental health, with real life stuff we don’t know about just kind of not really changing her but effecting her and her behavior. Sucks but it happens. I do agree she has been acting differently during different interviews and speeches. But we are not always the same person every day. We all have ups and downs and introverted and extroverted days.

I think she just isn’t putting up a wall of complete confidence anymore. She’s showing us her true emotions instead of this badass rockstar 100% of the time

I do think her personality shifts and has a range of characters. Not sure what it's about, but I would expect that from someone who has publicly discussed their mental health issues; combined with renowned artistic/creative talents.

The only thing that makes me cringe is the near-ebonics lol. But that's minimal.

I noticed the change too and it also started right when ARTPOP was released/it got messy with management. I have a feeling its a mix of growing up, therapy, health conditions and medication she is on(mainly medication, remember she is on very heavy meds right now).
