Idk about ruin her career but I've also thought it's a better idea to pack the legislative branch with progressive candidates so they can write and pass progressive laws. It seems more important than trying to go for one progressive president imo. Not that we can't do both But I'd be happy with more Bernie's and AOC's in congress and a Democrat in the White House. She'd be much more useful in lower offices, with more direct contact with the people, first. This is a no brainer. AOC is one of the youngest people ever elected to congress though. A presidency is a parting gift? I think not. Presidents don't have to just be old men. We just had our oldest president in history and he was an utter disaster.
