Me and my Trump-supporting dad have been having civil discussions about the elections, despite everything. Not that any of our opinions matter from across the ocean. But he's started echoeing the sentiments that somehow it's Biden that's trying to steal the election, citing almost all the mail-in votes going to him. And Trump kept saying to NOT vote by mail. So basically mail-in votes are majorly blue as most Republicans voted ON ELECTION DAY PRESENTIALLY. Republicans are not gonna give a good offer, Democrats prove time and time again they're weak, feckless, and incompetent to fight back or really fight at all, and Biden in the past was willing to cut social security. Who's to say he won't be willing to again if it secures him a deal on something to pass for his term. Left wing policies are popular. Biden praising Republicans to the extent that he did may have actually harmed downballot races. Moderate “pragmatism” isn’t pragmatism at all.
