It's your birthday tomorrow?! :excited2: OMG!

Yep, it’s in only three hours. So, Little Monsters, let’s get PA and GA to flip blue for my bday.

AZ is giving me serious anxiety. :dom::messga:

I hope we get both PA and GA tomorrow and get this over with. :deadbanana:

Georgia won't be officially called for weeks. The margin is waaay too thin for it to not go to an automatic recount.

Biden will win before that though  maybe even as early as tomorrow

The crazy thing is that, for the last 10 years, the Democrats always do better when it’s my birthday. On November 6, 2012, Obama defeated Romney. On November 6, 2018, Democrats got the house back. And, on November 6 2020, PA will (knock on wood) finally count enough votes to make it possible to officially declare it as a Biden victory.

PA LEAD DOWN TO 22K

This is pretty wild. We expected it but it's still crazy to see Trump go into this with a 600,000 vote lead and it's almost all gone and about to start going the other way :gayhat:

This has been the Republican MO for decades now: accuse your opponents of what you're doing.

OK, let’s look at PA to see how it goes: Right now, we have 175,000 more to count. As per the 75-25% rule of thumb, that means we will get 87,000 more votes for Biden. Right now, we only need around 20,000 more votes. So, the count is slow (PA will flip on my birthday, so 3 or more hours) but decisive.

Latin America is more progressive than the US and that sounds like a win to me :poot: The US is only perfect or undestroyable in this utopic Cold War propaganda fantasy that is crumbling every day more.

Idk :poot: here in Mexico people voted for a left-wing president without even know what that means. Our society is a complete mess when it comes to abortion, LGBTQ+ rights, Women's rights even :fail: I don't know about the rest but we are not in a good place right now.

Same-sex marriage has been approved in more states and all I hear is about protests against anything that doesn't vibe with religion.

People were making fun of the president's son because he looked ugly and his hairstyle was too gay. He is barely a teenager.

Suggesting that progressives are too unpopular is such a bs argument. Biden barely won the primary against a progressive, and that was with the entire Democratic Party apparatus favoring him and nearly every candidate dropping out at once and coalescing behind him at the right moment, and he is barely winning against the most disastrous president in modern times. If he can barely do it then centrist dems who are becoming more and more like diet Republicans will either fail or win the White House by the skin on their teeth and the Republican Party is becoming too dangerous to let that happen.

You're making an argument with an anomaly. Trump isn't a Republican. He is not fiscally conservative or morally conservative. The values of the Republican party are not what they used to be. I mean Regan wanted borders that were more open. That alone says how much that party has changed. People like John Kasich or McCain are what the Republican party used to stand for. Those people voted for Biden in McCain's case his wife did and they will continue to jump ship as the Republican party becomes more and more a nationalist party, thanks to Trump's influence. The problem is that nationalist sentiment is growing faster than the more progressive side of the Democratic party. It will become more difficult to move in a more progrssive direction as center left Republicans start voting Democratic as the Republican party continues it's dive into nationalism.

With that said, we have to start making those center left Republicans feel comfortable with voting more progressively. I think it's starts with rebranding to be honest. Most polls suggest that Americans want Healthcare reform and eduction reform and they believe in climate change, but they hear the word socialist and fear it. I think we need to start reinventing how we sell healthcare for for all and education for all and enviormental protection as conservative values or just plane necessay and not as Democratic socialism.

I'm not saying change the progessive ideas, just change the way they are presented.

We keep saying "words matter." Well they do and we should take our own advise.

I think it comes down to a loud minority of conservative idiots not accepting their way of life is (rightfully) extinguishing.
