No? Exactly the point I made. Democrats do, but they fail to deliver this message and instead focus on hype politics.

Compared to what? It's just low. I'm not saying not many people are dying from coronavirus, but they are many many more people dying from things like lung cancer, influenza, hearts disease, and yet nobody is talking about those deaths, or, nobody seems to care. Do you know how many people die globally every day of starvation?

Yet we have Joe going around in the last debate painting a picture as if we're all dying like flocks of birds falling out of the sky as if the freakin plague hit us. Please. "Somebody reaches over to a loved one in bed, they are gone, we're all dying with this virus" - No Joe, we're surviving this virus, and we're going to beat it with a vaccine, which China and Russia, also in India I think, are doing already! Get my statement that Trump's rhetoric could be much more appealing to people? It's positive. Not exaggerated.

Yes they are. Especially outside of the US. Here in the NL we only wear masks in public transport and some stores. 

Thanks for echoing my point that democrats are not conveying the actual benefits of the policies they stand for. Which is why I have a problem with the way they have been campaigning.

 

I am not an anti-mask troll. If you actually read my message before you gave me a warning point for "spreading misinformation", you would know that. Exactly which misinformation did I spread? You should be ashamed of yourself.

I stated that "masks don't do the job". And they DON'T. Wearing masks, has nowhere, stopped corona from spreading, even in countries where it is or was mandatory.

Americans seems so stuck in this "respect others, wear a mask" propaganda that they can't see the truth: social distancing is the only thing that works. You can wear a mask all day but if you sit down in a restaurant and take it off to eat or have drinks with friends (like what I encountered in Spain: masks everywhere on the street but not needed when seated at a table, but 12 people were found sitting at tables and of course, kiss kiss hi how you doing), wearing a mask in public spaces literally resulted in nothing (hence second wave).

Not to mention that there is absolutely no scientific consensus on the use of non-medical masks in the prevention of the spreading of corona (actually they discovered it's aerosoles that easily pass common masks). So, wearing a mask might reduce your chances of spreading it if you have it or slightly reduce the chance you get it if you're in a supermarket, but it doesn't solve anything if people visit each other at homes, people still go out to clubs (seen halloween?). The effect of masks is negated by human's inherent socialness.

It's criminally unintelligent to believe masks, especially non-medical masks, will stop the spreading of the coronavirus. So yes, all this "masks work" rhetoric, get over it. It's not the solution for this crisis, and it's not going to to be.

 

Anyway, it's hilarious to see that if someone criticizes the way democrats approached this campaign, everyone flocks to the "she drinks" / "anti-mask" / "Trump supporter" bandwagon. To those, you're fully contributing to the division of people.

All I said was democrats focused their campaign on too many things that don't really matter too much to every American. They ahould have focused on things that really matter to, you know, the average American, who has a massive student debt and can't afford healthcare, and knows people that were shot before, or that were fired for being sexually attracted to the same gender. It should be a piece of cake to beat Trump, and Biden is just as much of a laughing stock.

Learn to read. Carry on.

btw viral load is important.

masks might not stop infection, but the spread and the amount of droplets and virus load that’s spread, is lower. 

there are many studies about many viruses and the way you get infected is important. 

thats why masks are useful in closed environments with no ventilation;)
