Made people blind. Just the fact that he got them to not believe the media is enough. Bolsonaro did the same thing. So their followers think everything that is said about them in the media is a lie. That's how they created an army for themselves. They made people ignore the facts.

Same as Argentina. Chavez/Castro's impact.

Same could be said about Biden 8 years as VP, and the decades working in government

It really can't. Biden worked during the years that Obama literally removed us from a recession.

Trump currently has put us in a recession with a record level high in Unemployment.

And Argentina clapped back right? They elected a left wing president 2 years ago, is that it? Sorry, Brazil is colonized by the USA but Brazil also colonizes it's neighbours :vegas:, so I don't know much about other Latin American countries :cryga:

I don't understand how 4 million more people are voting for Trump.:mark:

Nothing personal, but I find these kind of remarks by democrats very mind boggling and ignorant. If they would take some time to talk to the average Trump voters, they would at least understand why so many people support him.

The dems build a big anti-Trump campaign, but they never seem to have tried to speak with Trump-voters about their problems and fears. Although a part of the voters really are racists and xenophobes, others are genuinely afraid of things they don't understand. You might not agree, but you can atleast try to understand. If anything, Biden really has a task to make the two America's talk to eachother again and show some empathy to one another

He's uneventful as it gets but he did pull the country out of a recession whereas Trump ended his term with one...

His followers dont see it as Trumps fault, and they are kinda right. The recession bubble has been happening for over a decade and it popped early because of COVID. This was gonna happen no matter whos president.

They view Trump response to open the country the only solution to the recession, while Democrats want to close the country which will lead the an economic collapse in their opinion.

You have to understand why people support Trump instead of looking at them with disgust and act morally superior, specially when Democrats are voting for someone like Biden.

But does he really get credit for an economy that took years to recover, gets credit for an administration that sided with banks over homeowners, that cut food stamps, that wanted to cut social security, that did a bailout that largely benefited the wealthy?

Does that really deserve a positive credit for Joe?

No indication that Texas is trending blue, sadly.

2016:

Donald Trump - 4,685,047 - 52.2%

HRC - 3,877,868 - 43.2%

2020: (>99% reported)

Donald Trump - 5,844,833 - 52.3%

Joe - 5,171,964 - 46.2%

demographics ain't destiny, it seems. And higher turn-out =/= more Democrats. The Democrat vote increased a lot, but Trump's lead stayed the same. The only difference is pretty much no relevant third party candidates this time around.
