SonOfAphrodite 1,838
Oh wow stay safe!! I’m in the Bay Area of California and we are still opening things up. I can see us eventually locking down as well if things get worse since we were the first in the state to lockdown. At least we all have this site to feel some sense of community and be there for each other. So much uncertainty everywhere
LaLuna 12,732
It's sad that this has to happen just because some people are too stubborn and stupid to observe social distancing and sanitary measures. Nobody wants a lockdown, but then people act like they're above the virus.

AVeryGagaHolyDick 32,361
Honnestly, I've been THE best french civil during the first lockdown. I hadn't left home AT ALL for three months even though I have health issues (need medical help etc.) and I smoke (need to go buy cigarettes). NOT ONCE. I stayed in my house. People are stupid, they didn't respect anything. I am not part of this and I might be a bad person for saying that, but I hope most of them will catch Covid (not in a mortal way though)

I won't be able to see my boyfriend for at least a whole month, university is closing... How are we gonna get through this a second time ? Omg I'm from Grenoble OT, currently I'm in Germany, we're going to have stricter measures but not as much as in France I think. I'm lucky I haven't experienced that. alsemanche 97,836
I'm not in France but my brother is and he has been going crazy over this because basically they banned many things but somehow they didn't force companies (who are able to) to make their employees work from home??? His company has been making him work from home for months now but his roommate is being forced to go to his office even though he's literally a programmer who does all his work on his laptop Soft, soothing, and succulent
Xoxo Adriana 15,040
wishing you guys the best of luck! here in melbourne, we have just recently emerged from lockdown. we started it in late june and spent the past three months in it due to the concerning high cases we had. it’s safe to say (for the moment) that we kicked covid’ butt. two months ago we recorded the highest peak we had this year with 700+ daily cases, and now we are only getting under 5 a day, and very little to no deaths. no other city in australia went through a second wave like we did so places like sydney and brisbane didn’t do this lockdown. I'm so sad. Hey! We have to remember that us not catching it saves lifes. It's annoying for us indeed but you spreading it around can be deadly to elders. Our sacrifices is moderate compared to their risks. Also some young people never had any uni year so we're lucky to have had at least one.

It's so incredible to me what Australia has been able to to accomplish. Also, how BIZARRE that Melbourne/Victoria had a second spike but no other states/cities did. This disease is so frighteningly random. I'm in Chicago. in Illinois we recorded our highest number of new cases in a single day EVER today. The US is such a ***t show. It's my belief that regardless of who wins the election, it's only a matter of time before we go back into major quarantine and a far stricter one than we initially had put into place. Which is going to cause a LOT of tension.

Galactic Mess 1,393
In my country there was a laughable attempt at a lockdown, no one heeded it, and now things are going back to normal as if COVID-19 didn't exist. We should've locked every international airport down in december.
