I think France (and almost every country in Europe) will be in total lockdown since mid November until Christmas, +25k cases daily are too much, the health care systems can't take it no more (actually in France it's +50k daily):saladga:

This is stressing me out cause I failed my university year last year because of the lockdown, my anxiety and depression just took over me and I couldn’t get myself to do anything productive. I just know this time around it’ll be different, I’ve already survived the first one, I’m 100% convinced I’ll survive this one. I mean this was inevitable, French people are really stubborn (including me), we, in a way, deserve what happens to us.

Well here in México if you get COVID is your fault. The goverment has doing everything they can to help us, but people are very stubborn and stupid, and I don't want to imagine those people celebrating christmas and new years eve, ugh, I hate them.

I'm a teacher so I'm in a privilege position for the moment with schools taking classes via Zoom, but many people need to work to survive, and they can catch a virus any moment because there are people who doesn't even bother to wear a mask.

Europe was doing so well.

This is what happens when people get complacent.

It's sad that this has to happen just because some people are too stubborn and stupid to observe social distancing and sanitary measures. Nobody wants a lockdown, but then people act like they're above the virus.

I do agree that people act the way they wanna act, even if sanitary measures are necessary.

I liked to have a drink with friends in a bar but since the first lockdown I didn't go because they don't respect the measures... It's not safe at all!

Honnestly, I've been THE best french civil during the first lockdown. I hadn't left home AT ALL for three months even though I have health issues (need medical help etc.) and I smoke (need to go buy cigarettes). NOT ONCE. I stayed in my house.

People are stupid, they didn't respect anything. I am not part of this and I might be a bad person for saying that, but I hope most of them will catch Covid (not in a mortal way though)

Well congrats for the first lockdown, if u wanna talk during this one just dm :)

In my country there was a laughable attempt at a lockdown, no one heeded it, and now things are going back to normal as if COVID-19 didn't exist. :neyde:

We should've locked every international airport down in december. :saladga:

OMG where are you?

In Germany there were a+18k a day and we get in a “soft lockdown”, which basically means every type of free time activity is closed (bars, cinemas, theatres, gyms and so on), but retail, schools and hairdressers are still open.. like what am I immune to COVID? :saladga:

Lmao, I'm in high school and it's my last here. I was my final exam (the "baccalauréat") in June 2021. In my school we're 2100 pupils and it'll not be closed! It has no sense! And I'm very anxious, my fear is to don't be strong enough to pass through this horrible moment.

Idk why did they suddenly announce it. They could have made an official announcement last week, so that people could get prepared beforehand.

But anyway...
