As for the album: 

BLACKPINK was found to have sold 820,000 albums in the third quarter alone.  The first full album released in October has already sold 690,000 copies, and there is a plan to release additional albums in December, so record sales are expected to increase further in the fourth quarter.   Researcher Ahn said, "In the fourth quarter, Song Min-ho and Akdong Musicians will also release albums," he said.

Their label try to overmilking their fans and this is sad

It's a tradition for kpop albums to get a "repackage" release a few months after the initial release. This time I will consider it a "full album", not with the 8-song one.

I wonder how would things progressed if pandemic never happen. The era definitely will have different story, but how different is the one I am interested to know.
