I'm not a fan of anyone you guys mentioned but can you provide examples on what they did during this time that Gaga didn't? We got an album, a new photoshoot, the make-up line, a great VMA performance, music videos... etc!

I feel like all these projects, CTC, Joanne, ASIB, were all here to change her image, as her pop side didn't appeal to GP anymore and she was afraid of doing another pop album after ARTPOP

I'm not going to speak on ARTPOP's chart performance but thing with that era is that she felt depressed for being a bit too controlled. She needed that image change anyway because she wasn't feeling herself as an artist. She kinda felt like she was losing her integrity and credibility. The G.U.Y. video explained a lot about her situation.

Gaga released 3 music videos 2gagavisions the chromatica weather girls gaga radio and a vma performance and some interviews and photoshoots yeah basically nothing

"owe" is not the good word to use.

It's a give and take kind of relationship, until one sides stops to give and it's applied to any artist, movies, tv series, anything in pop culture or any business

she gives us music, videos, concerts, promo and then we take and gives her money, support and a continuing success, she gives us music again and so on and so on, until one side stops

but at the end she can be the biggest loser out of this relationship

i dont care if we get something or not, but hate when people start listing lies to prove a point.

 

gaga didnt release 3 videos during the pandemic. one dropped before and one was shot before. also counting anything that is done besides the album like make up is just a laughable excuse to get a longer list

No it doesn't. If you have an underlying physical condition, your chances of being killed by covid rise considerably, and some artists do have underlying physical conditions. Gaga has at least one.

Even disregarding each artist's personal health, during this pandemic every artist will make up their own mind about how much promo they want to do, and it won't be about how lazy they are or how committed they are to their fans. It will be first and foremost about how afraid they are of the virus, not just for themselves but for family members that they might pass the virus on to.

She willingly extended her contract. She does owe us more music plus with her budget there is no reason for minimal quality. After all, it’s what she loves to do. No, it’s not like we bought her a sandwich and she still hasn’t paid us back but she does literally owe us more material and honestly continually talking a about how she doesn’t owe us is probably even demotivating. I even think it’s a good thing for her to know a huge group of people is eager for her work if stated respectfully. She can take her time and experiment, but she owes us at least two more albums and let’s stop discussing this, it’s not Joanne anymore.

I think people are talking in gerenal also did do gaga radio vma performance and the 911 video and some interviews but for some of you its never enough

Katy for example gave multiple performances, interviews, music videos, etc. WHILE being pregnant and under a pandemic Yes, Gaga has put out 2 videos and a one performance for the album. But that’s literally it. She starts the era then stops and disappears. She can do as she pleases but It’s fine if fans find it boring and want more. We don’t control nor have any say in what she does.
