Jared Leto Will Play The Joker Again in Zack Snyder's Justice League

Zack Snyder has been given the green light to proceed with the Snyder Cut of Justice League and Jared Leto will be onboard reprising his Joker role from Suicide Squad.

The Hollywood Reporter has learned that Leto will play his version of The Joker, who first appeared in 2016’s Suicide Squad, in Zack Snyder's Justice League. Leto will be a part of the Snyder Cut reshoots for the planned, four-episode event for HBO Max.

the original didn't finish production though I don't think so not everything had been shot yet

They finished I think, they did only reshoots with Snyder before he left

Jared/Joker was not supposed to be there at all

At first it was supposed to be a recut of the original shoot that was scrapped (but because of the leak and the bad reception it was then shot again with Joss Whedon) and now they changed the script again and will do a reshoot.

More like an entirely different movie at this point. They'll use a new script, new characters, new shoots and it will be cut in 4 different chapter. The story will also be different

I cannot express how much I dislike Jared Leto's Joker. I understand that for this version of the JL, Jared Leto is the Joker, but why did they have to put him in the film?

Imo this is the problem with Snyder and why he was let go in the first place. He is like a child, he never stops wanting to have things. He always wants to add something else : more characters, more story, more time, more special effects  I mean, he was supposed to just recut the original shoot and now it will be a more than a 4 hours movie that HBO had to cut in 4 chapters, with new characters from the DCU (and god knows it will cost millions just to hire the actors), new shoots, which means more Post prod and special effects, and it never stops  If it doesn't reach HBO's expectations, he's gonna be dragged to hell.

I hate this version too. And his supporters always claim the same "he had little screentime". excuse. Yeah, i agree with that, but  with the little screentime he had, he delivered a cringe performance. The whole gangster aesthetic didn't help either
