Many reboots are made without the original cast. When something is typically rebooted, it's done for a new generation with redone plots/characters. I'm sure they would've been asked to make guest appearances later down the line but that seems unlikely as they continue burning bridges. 

And it's one thing to defend yourself (say your piece and go) and it's another to constantly talk about and trash it.

Buffy is a reboot if the Buffy movie. Smallville is a reboot of Superboy. Desperate Housewives is basically The First Wives Club, Grey's Anatomy is basically ER.

Only Buffy is a "reboot" of the Buffy film, the rest are HUGE "basically" reboots. Just taking a similar premise is not a reboot. One could say that any witch show is a reboot of Charmed from that argument, or say that Charmed was a reboot of The Craft. The problem with reboots is that they take the title, branding and story line of the original and in this case they don't seem to respect the original.

Holly is still very active in the Charmed community (goes to conventions all the time for the show and is on panels) so I 100% can see her criticism of the show but I don't keep tabs on Rose much so I can't speak on her criticism (although I do really love Paige as a character)   

I just wish they could do the OG show better justice and everyone could get along sincerely 

no shade to anyone in the show past or present they all do/did their jobs very nicely just the writers didn't help the remake 

 

EDIT: saw the video and like it's mostly Rose speaking on it and yes the OG is better than the remake and I agree that I am glad there are actors who have jobs 

also I don't see this as a race issue

These two has beens need to let it go. They wouldn't have liked being attacked if it was the other way around. They are way too old to be acting like children. Queen Shannen supported the new girls. A true legend!

It's a poor reboot, period. Has nothing to do with their race. It could be 3 white women and it would still suck. 

They rebooted the damn reboot in season 2 by completely scrapping the first season and uprooting everything.
