I run a business of 6 restaurants across the UK, I didnt ban cash transactions but I've seen a 90% drop in cash payments in my business. People don't want to use them. Haha, not particularly no, restaurants is a difficult game, there isn't really an opportunity to bank lots of money, its a hand to mouth business. I do ok, I live comfortably, but if the pandemic continues on its current trajectory and the government doesn't step in further to protect small business, I could end up having to liquidate. I was just kidding. I know these types of businesses have a tendency to have razor thin profit margins. Although since u have 6 I wondered if combined u might still make a 6 figure income I'm sorry ur struggling tho. Here in Toronto they are estimating 40% to 50% of restaurants will fail the government here was so generous in terms of income payments to unemployed but they were half of generous to businesses. This virus would have to reach billions of people in a really short time to actually make everyone sick with it, which is totally not what is happening especially now with restrictions (even half-assed). The virus comes and goes with everyone.
