I mean, we legit haven’t had a 3rd single since ARTPOP and a proper 3rd single since BTW. Ppl have the right to feel disappointed and confused.

I just really hope for more videos and a 3rd single with actual promo and not just months of silence followed by every announcement.

What do you need a single for?

Yes, I expect for her to have a baby and enjoy her life. She worked so hard and helped so much, she deserves her own happiness.

I think many people fail to understand what it all takes for new things to be done by an artist.

Amid this pandemic, Hollywood had to pretty much be shut down for months. No videos could be made, concerts, or television performances. So the lack productions by Gaga is to be expected. Even despite this, we have received 3 fully produced music videos, two Gagavisions, and a live recorded MEDLEY performance that felt more like a concert.

Not to mention her having to do work and promotion for both her foundation and makeup business. As well as a separate fragrance ad.

So, honestly I don’t expect much from here in this weird time, and I am grateful for what we have been given despite the circumstances of the world.

If nothing else happens I’ll have fond memories of video premieres and VMAs, as well as getting to do dance classes online to do the choreography, or watching virtual drag shows where the queens performed new Gaga music.

it’s the good ole is your class half empty or half full....

I am sure they will do something to campaign for the Grammys.  She recorded performances and a music video during this pandemic afterall.

You can sit waiting for this one, we haven't got a live album/dvd since 2011 :bear:

Honestly I don't expect anything from her anymore, I was genuinely excited for Chromatica and the whole postponement sht happend, the silence, it was really hard, I didn't felt like this since AP, so I've learned to just receive whatever she wants to give us and I'm not forced to like it either

Well seeing that a tour might not happen and Interscope would still want to make money, let's hope this one happens.

I completely let Chromatica go:bradley:

The SILENCE is killing me. I am not ecpecting anything. I feel like Gaga and her whole team is kinda letting us down (unintentionally!), even though they are trying their bests.

And why is there no promo at al? This is so ungaga:fatcat: Like the only thing we got was the VMA performance and that's it. Oh yeah we also got the extremely overpriced boxset.

If not for the pandemic/BLM, we'd have the iHeartRadio Music Awards performance, COACHELLA set, listening session, Tonight Show, etc., Enigma and Jazz & Piano, and the CHROMATICA Ball. All within the last few months. Yes?

As it is, we got 3 MUSIC VIDEOS, Weather Girls with Ariana, Gagavision, Gaga Radio, photoshoots for Paper Mag, InStyle, and Billboard, and a 9-minute performance at the VMAs.

Did you expect her to perform 911 at the Academy of Country Music Awards?? ;)

The gimmicks have softened dramatically, the stocking and thought provoking performance art has gone (e.g. meat dress, bleeding on stage, paint vomit, Joe Calderone, hatching from an egg etc.)

She's grown up and moved on! She's not stuck in 2011! Thank God!! ;););)

Ye I get pissed when I see artists like Miley Cyrus doing lots of recent performances and other artists promoting the hell out of their music during this time and Gaga not doing much at all atm.

And why are we comparing Lady Gaga, with all her health issues, to Miley, who's 27?

That Haus Labs photoshoot probably took a few hours, but the 911 short film and the VMAs performance/rehearsals were A LOT more time-consuming and probably exhausting for her.

Tarsem, who directed the 911 music video, was so concerned about Gaga's mental and physical state he made sure he got everything in one take, just in case!

It's been almost a month since 911 MV :messga:

She's done nothing to promote it :cryga:

And people really thought it was gonna be the next single, blah blah

Also, the commercial being a dissapointment cuz of how cheap it was, not to mention the "acoustic" version of SFA :awkney:

At least she still has energy to promote Haus Labs, yay!

1. Maybe it's time to look in the MIRROR. Needless to say, but I will...

Little Monsters are NOT nearly as dedicated as the ARMYs, BLINKs, or Swifties. ;)

Gaga was SO excited about the 911 short film, "It's been YEARS since I felt so alive in my creativity..."

She released an amazing and personal music video, but her Little Monsters COULD NOT get 911 to #1 (or Chromatica back to #1) on iTunes even if they tried.

The question is... DID THEY EVEN TRY?? ;) Did YOU? No?

PROMOS (911 VMAs performance, 911 music video, and multiple interviews) can only do so much for a 5-MONTH-old song/album... Unless, of course, she has a YOUNG and ORGANIZED fanbase!

2. Chromatica was released 5 months ago. It's NOT ASIB, which benefited from a blockbuster movie, now playing/streaming on TV all over the world!

It doesn't matter if Gaga posts about it 7 days a week... Her youngest IG/twitter followers are OLDER than the ARMYs/BLINKs!

They're not gonna buy the album again (would YOU?), or stream 911 24/7, or RAISE $40K+ to help fans who can't afford to buy multiple copies on iTunes! ;)

How Much Does It Cost to Go Number One?

But ARMY's coordination can't be overstated. They started raising funds and preparing streaming and buying guides weeks in advance... This time, she had help from Funds For Bangtan, a fan-led funding project that receives donations from fans... Funds For Bangtan received roughly $40,000 in donations, and they've consistently raised even more funding...

For some fans, it's not about breaking records; it's about making a statement. Just ask the Swifties. "We also all really wanted 'Cardigan' to be Taylor's first self-owned No. 1 song."

What do you mean? Single means video treatment and radio play. It’d be nice to have this era alive with the gp and not just on this forum. Part of what makes an era exciting is having the gp on board with her songs. Singles also mean more content in general such as outfits, hair colour, merch, performances, interviews etc. They can be their own mini era.
Also, singles usually ensure that the song will be performed for years to come and right now only SL and ROM are pretty much the only songs she’ll keep around for future tours etc. Imagine if TF, TFM and BTW only had 2 singles each. I doubt those eras would be as highly regarded as they are now.

If Interscope reissues Chromatica with new songs or alternate mixes (e.g demos and/or a different mix entirely such as Babylon early version) then yes I think many of us would buy the album again. A lot of us already have five different coloured cassettes, three different coloured vinyls, a picture disc vinyl, standard & deluxe CD and the Japanese editions. There's only so many editions we will buy that have the same content on them before we stop buying them.

I think at this point her recordable is being careful with what they spend due to the global pandemics none of the pop girls are really doing anything right now, and Adele did she clearly changed her plans and will not release anything u til pandemic is over. These artists make such a huge portion of their money from touring. That’s why we see Gaga promoting her others business, haus labs.  The money has to keep flowing- and the more money she makes the more budget she will have for future musical endeavors. But she also literalllu just released one of her best music videos too.
