But only an idiot would take advice from someone simply because they are famous instead of cooperating with their local Congress representatives and community groups. Americans didn’t vote for Trump because they’re stupid. They voted for Trump because Hollywood is stupid, and stunts like this just prove it. Or, consider that every poll and every newspaper and every celebrity endorsement predicted Trump would lose in 2016. How well did that go? Hollywood is being punished for treating everyday adults like children - while it hypocritically rewards people like Trump, Ellen and Chris Brown etc for literally behaving like children.
