Nobody has to answer the questions asked of them and nobody has to be accountable for their own statements. Political debates are really not useful tools. They are just games. She talked about doing policy based on science, as if Trump's policy was only based on $ money. Imagine how unscientific people must be to walk into an airborn covid-19 hotspot rally without even a mask on their face and call it freedom. They called Pence presidential because of stereotype, because their favorite president's were older gray haired men that are somewhat combative, a stereotype. Harris will break stereotype, assuming she is elected. Also, I would assume that Fox viewers that are undecided would be more libertarian ideologically, just a guess. PS. Harris followed the rules. Pence didn't. PS.
