Today Video Games by LDR turs 9 years old (almost a decade basically).

A trip hop and indie pop ballad, the song served as the first single off Lana Del Rey's debut album Born to Die. Following its release, it became one of Lana's most known, liked and referenced songs and critics went as far as including it in the book '1001 Songs You Must Hear Before You Die'.

What is your opinion on this song? Was it a right choice to officially debut her career with such a song? How did the song 'age' to you?

This song is so hauntingly beautiful. One of my favorites by her, if not my favorite. CHILLS, everytime.

I didn’t discover her for that song but it’s so haunting, I understand why she skyrocketed so much

An amazing song by an amazing artist :bradley: Beautiful and chilling. It still sounds fresh after so many years. She influenced the whole industry tbh.

Kindness rules all.

Now this was a cultural reset. Truly a moment.

Everyone was wearing flower crowns and trying to rock the sad indie girl aesthetic. Glad I witnessed that moment in full bloom.
