I'm playing Octopath Traveler and it's sooo good. Okami is a very good game (I've played it on the Wii but I haven't tried the Switch remaster yet). There's the new Super Mario collection (Super Mario 3D All Stars) if you're into that too.

There's also a new Zelda (prequel to BotW) coming out soon. It looks cool too.

If you have someone to play with, Overcooked 2 is really fun too.

You thought i made this thread didnt you? :ally:

(He's the one who introduced me to smash and made me hooked)

The switch is one of the best consoles I've ever got :') it's amazing!!! Try the new Mario collection game, Super Mario 3D All Stars, it has 3 full Mario games in one!

Also if you get nintendo switch online, get Super Mario 35, it's like a Mario competition with other players it's so much fun!!!

Also dropping my switch code for anyone to add 😳 -> 8256-6440-3717

You HAVE to play Super Mario Odyssey .

The Resident Evil games are also really fun and often discounted.

Gurrrl I played Okami on the ps2 :bradley: absolutely gorgeous game I love it so much

i am very hyped for breath of the wild 2 but the new Hyrule warriors scared me because I thought they were replacing the sequel with that, bc I am not very into that kind of game. Hopefully they will not cancel/scrap BOTW 2.

Fire Emblem Three Houses. Perioooodt.

I have never played the Fire Emblem series but I saw ppl posting about it when it first came out and it definitely seems like a game I would enjoy!

OH MY GOD THIS IS SO TRIPPY?!?! I JUST bought my first nintendo switch too today and i was thinking of making a thread on gagadaily about it  i felt like i stepped in the future and read the thread title thinking "wait i posted this already?!"

I've never owned any gaming console ever (and i mean a n y / e v e r) so i'm so excited about this! I'm playing mario kart, it's so fun. I also got zelda botw, and i'm testing some freeware out while waiting for super smash bros to finish downloading (mario 35 is so fun!)

Ah i am so happy for you & glad you are enjoying it!

I actually haven’t received mine yet since I ordered it online today, the estimated arrival date is Oct 8th so hopefully it shows up on time

Breath of the wild (beautiful beautiful adventure, great evolution of the brilliant Zelda formula, with some flaws)

Super Mario 3D Collection (3 timeless classics, a must play imo)

Animal Crossing (such a timesink, my island is called Chromatiga and Lady Gaga lives on it)

Mario Odyssey (charming, nostalgic, a bit on the easy side)

Doom 64 (classic Doom, and soo beautiful imo, also: for only five dollars it's basically a steal)

Doom 3 (leans a bit more on horror than your usual Doom game)

Celeste (challenging 2D plattformer with amazing music and a story about dealing with darkness and depression)

I've only played the Wii Paper Mario and I absolutely love it.

Also the Ori games are beautiful and they're challenging but also super fun and enjoyable. I've played the first one on the Xbox and loved it.

Pokémon

Crown Tundra coming Oct 22nd :gayhat:

I’ve always loved Pokémon games and play Pokémon Go almost every day because I walk to work. But idk, i am hesitant to get the switch versions. I am more inclined to get Let’s Go Pikachu than Sword & Shield. Maybe I need to do more research.

I'm really about to be that b!tch, but I have to recommend animal crossing new horizon

I had never played a game from this franchise, so me and my siblings started playing around when the pandemic hit. It was easily our best purchase since covid haha!

It's so so charming, so relaxing after some really hard days, and I've gotten countless laughs out of it. It's engaging, wholesome cuteness that I'm deeply in love with :selena:
