What went through your head when you put on the pink Valentino dress for the very first time?
I wore it on the red carpet of the Venice film festival for the premiere of 'A Star is Born', but the first time that I wore it was at home in California. I was trying on dresses for the premiere with my mom, with Andrea Bocelli's music playing in the background. The moment my stylists Tom & Sandra zipped up the pink dress, I looked at my mom and we both bursted into tears. She proudly (and crying) told me "that's the one". I will never forget that moment with her. And that is exactly the magic of Valentino.

What gives you confidence?
I have to very consciously give myself confidence in order to feel it. It's something I'm constantly working on: I focus on my talents and build further on that. It's like building a house that's never done. I also remember myself that a talent or a skill can be something very simple.

It still is one of her best worn dresses and red carpet looks ever.

Literally everything was perfect about it — the hair, the makeup, the pink feather extravaganza realness. And then her shoulders glistening with rain just added an otherworldly touch to it. She looked like a literal Goddess descended from the heavens above. Will never get over it
