The dramatics in these politics threads, please drink some hot tea and watch this stuff on the news or something. There’s quite literally no important discussion to be made on Gaga Daily about this sort of stuff.

I'm sorry but the President is literally a covid super spreader, they keep lying to us on the news about the single most important news story in the world right now, and we're pissed about it (and rightfully so).

So sorry to subject you the the dramatics of it all, but it makes us feel better to talk through what we're feeling is this CRAZY time. I realize that Trump isn't going to read this and change his mind about lying, but thanks for clarifying.

Just watch guys. If he does die, im betting that we are going to get lied to for days leading up to his death. On the day that he dies, they're going to say that overnight his condition took a turn for the worse and was dramatically getting worse by the hour. The day before he's gonna be "fine". There will be more scripted tweets. There will be more republican lies. I just know it if this situation does happen.

That fact that this translates to "I don't care about anything that may not directly affect me" is very telling.

Do you expect anything different from certain users :haroon:

It's actually a huge unknown how this would work. There is no precedent or law describing how this transferal of power would work if both the president and vice president became incapacitated at the same time.

That is why is to PARAMOUNT that we know what is going on right now.

It has happened before.

It'll still be Pelosi. But what's scary is she's the only Dem in the whole line of succession. After her it's all of his generals: Grassley, then Pompeo, Mnuchin, Esper, Barr.... Chr*st :fail::fail::fail: She needs to be protected.

While I might have opinionated opinions on American domestic politics, its still not my country and I have limited understanding of it. That is something the American people have to do to effect actual change, not an Arab Muslim living in the Middle East. What I care about is my family not becoming refugees and homeless in foreign countries which happened to some of my family.

I think that if that were to happen, we might not learn about his death until days after the fact. It makes more sense that way than just telling it like it is, something that the GOP is not very keen on doing as already seen

So, if you had to choose between two men entering your house, and you knew one of them had killed 2 persons before, you'll still be choosing him because "well, to be honest, idk if the other one committed any crimes! At LeAsT thIs oNe IS hOnEsT"

I did not make that argument though

Not sure it's worse than Trump tho

When it comes to foreign policy, Trump wants the least foreign intervention possible. Even Bolton "exposed" Trump for refusing to go on more wars and he refused to attack Iran.

This does not mean Trump is good or that he likes Muslims though. Hes still comitting war crimes on us everyday. But I think he doesnt want the war criminal legacy that Bush, Clinton, and Obama have. His direction is different and the harm is more directed towards the American people.

Pelosi is complicit in illegal torture of Muslims, and hiding evidence of it. When all this was exposed, she refused to impeach Bush for it because she was involved. She would be impeaching herself if she tried to impeach Bush on his crimes.

I’m not saying you shouldn’t be pissed. But arguing with people on their morals and **** for hours isn’t going to solve our problems.

People should be concerned about the future of this country, I am. But they should also make sure to remember their limit of control in these situations. You’re not gonna start a revolt and get all the information from the government you want in a Gaga Daily thread.

Whether you like it or not, America's policies are a great part of the world's policies. What happens in America will surely affect the whole world, one war or the other. As such, I think it is quite ignorant to just say "it's not my country therefore its politics are not my cup of tea" or whatever. Sure, if you'r talking about Canada or Ethiopia, it might be true, but not for the US. It is literally the biggest economy in the world, and its relationships with the other countries are dependant on its policies and are much of the time the reasons why a country from the other corner in the world enters a recession or not. America is so powerful it has the world under its commands. Saying that American people are the only ones that should be campaigning for change in America is knowing next to nothing about world politics.

I was also thinking about that too.

I think that if they go that way, someone will leak the information about him being dead. And thats where I can see mass chaos coming into play.

I don't really think the American people need to know. For what? It's more a national security risk.

And having inconsistent messaging coming out isn’t? Lmao I mean, in an age of mass media, I think we need to know clearly what the status of the leader of the country is. Otherwise, we have another Reagan scenario where the dude literally had dementia in office but was still leading. Transparency is the cornerstone of a healthy and good democracy.

But you did. You said Pelosi might've been responsible of a few crimes and that is why you don't want her in the office. Trump on the other hand, a known philantropist and Jesus-like figure according to you, is beyond questioning apparently.

Ignoring all the useless discourse above, can someone tell me what the 'white house pool' is? Is it some form of internal report tool?

Kindof. This is the what the WH press corps is called -- "the press pool". They are the journalists that are assigned to the WH and you see sitting at the press briefings. They "pool" there and report back to their respective outlets.

What I will say is that Trump isn’t exactly resistant to war, it’s more that he wants the other country to start it
