The second wave in Canada so far appears more aggressive than the first and flu season just started

Quebec alone reported 1000 new cases.

Quebec has restarted a partial lockdown with some businesses like restaurants re-closed

The largest Province Ontario has already stated that surging cases are likely to cause a second lockdown

Many Provinces are also not accepting incoming passanger flights from other Provinces still

I feel so bad for Canada

The government has handled the pandemic well so far, it's not their fault that Trump is an idiot :trollga:

I mean... U can't really blame Trump. The border is closed. True the odd person here and there gets to cross the border for specific reasons including stuff like transportation of goods (like truck drivers) but the number of Cases u can blame on Americans would be small

Parties and weddings have been the main thing most cases have been getting traced back to. This is on Canadians who don't listen :selena:

Idk...

I live in a  “high risk zone” in Europe for most many EU countries and I haven’t gotten infected even though I have a very active life

I really do believe most, if not all infections happen in extremely close environments like family reunions or parties. (don’t have those at all tho)

I just don’t get how I haven’t caught it even though I go to the gym everyday and to school 5 times a week lots of hours per day.

Maybe I already caught it and Idk about it. Who knows.

But this virus is so weird

You could have caught it without knowing it as you said

And if not it's a game of chance. Even in high risk areas a lot of people will never get it. If u don't happen to come in close contact with someone who had it or touch and infected surface then touch ur mouth or face then u don't have it... On the flip side someone in a low risk areas could get it by being at the wrong place at the wrong time. This is why precautions are so important

My city Brampton (a suburb near Toronto) has been the epicentre of Covid-19 in Canada several times and the highest concentration relative to population for a number of problematic reasons in my city

I also go to gym everyday and stuff but at least to my knowledge I never got it either

@Biggest Bitch I also wanna point out that when it comes to restrictions the Federal Government didn't decide almost anything besides closing borders. When it comes to lockdowns and laws it's all been Provincial

The Federal Government has been more active when it comes to economy mostly

I had all the symptoms but fever in early February, I had a school trip and no one got sick.

I even kissed a girl and she never got sick :laughga:

Maybe a lot of us got it, and I was the only one to show very mild symptoms (loss of smell and taste, it was awful).

Who knows

Ugh I also read there is a huge backlog of tests, potentially 10 000 more than officially reported :saladga:

Ford is really fumbling this, not sure what is going on in the other provinces.

I'm in Quebec, and I hate it here :toofunny:. We have so many anti-masks supporters it's truly sickening.

What is done in the dark shall one day come to light.

Lol what does trump have to do with Canada??? This is cause of Canadians, specifically young ones, that gather in large groups to party etc. It’s also cause schools all opened up again when they shouldn’t have imo and that the weather is getting a lot colder
