She has to win best pop duo, what even would she compete against? It was the one big pop collab this year. As for her album, Future Nostalgia will be the one to beat in the pop category, maybe even After Hours too if it gets submitted under pop but a nomination for sure. I live in hope that ROM will get a SOY/ROY nomination but win? Unlikely. I'm crossing my fingers for a AOTY nomination as there'll be 8 opportunities and it wasn't the biggest year for music but to think ASIB got snubbed for a nomination despite all those wins it got, it makes me doubtful. I really don't think a dance pop album will ever win. But I honestly don't think Folklore will win despite what people are saying. AVeryGagaHolyDick 24,233 Posted October 3, 2020 Share Posted October 3, 2020 My predictions: NOMINATIONS: ⏹️ Album Of The Year — “Chromatica” ⏹️ Best Pop Vocal Album — “Chromatica” ⏹️Song Of The Year — “Rain On Me” ⏹️Best Pop Solo Performance — “Stupid Love” ⏹️Best Pop/Duo Group Performance — “Rain On Me” WINS: The Weeknd, Taylor Swift However, I do believe there is a possibility that “ROM” wins Pop Duo or more possibly that “SL” wins Pop Solo since the voters are mostly soccer moms (and dads), and God knows they love the song. Knowing the GRAMMYs, Taylor will be nominated (and eventually win) in pop categories (Pop Duo etc.) despite being rather alternative this time, because, well, her album is incredibly popular, and The Weeknd will win all the big three awards for “Blinding Lights” and “After Hours”. I'm usually right with my predictions (“Joanne” nod and win for Pop Solo, “ARUTW” nod for Song Of The Year) but sometimes the GRAMMYs lose me (“ASIB OST” not being nominated for Album Of The Year) Depending on how 2021 goes, I can see “911” being nominated for Best Music Video at the 2022 GRAMMYs à la “Joanne” for Pop Solo. I wouldn't bet on that but time will tell...
