And I encourage people to do their research because, although Biden is also not my ideal candidate, his proposals for healthcare expansion, tax reform, racial equity, the environment, and LGBTQ+ support - should they come to pass - are as progressive as anything we would have seen from a sitting president.

Are they Bernie-level improvements? No. But at this point, I would accept a happy medium and fight for more. But Biden needs to win first.

This is exactly it. I'm a democratic socialist, so of course Biden wouldn't have been my number one choice for the Democratic candidate. However, with the first past the post electoral system, along with the electoral college, the only real choice in this election is between Biden's progressive policies, or Trump's authoritarian, even far-right policies. For other socialists in the USA, or those who are considerably left wing, it wouldn't be right to abstain when voting, or voting for another candidate, unless you have serious reservations about Biden.

On the other hand, I'm not American, nor do I live in America, so my judgement is based on my own opinions formed outside of the USA.

Also, I must admit that I was rather naive in 2016, as even though I consistently disliked Trump and everything he stood for, I never realised how far he would go with attacking democracy.

1. I love all the non-Americans telling American Democrats how to win American elections. It's bizarre.

2. I read someone say "A vote for Biden is a vote for Trump".... y'all I actually hate it here

3. Trump is the largest existential threat to democracy in the world. Anyone who isn't absolutely committed to kicking him out of office is complicit in his authoritarianism.

40 days until Nov. 3. Please make them count. We need to blow him out of the water so he can't kill our democracy.

He's taking more of a middle ground because he's bought off by billionaires.

His potential voters support M4A and a GND. He does not support these measures because he's paid by his donor not to.

He's a corrupt fraud.

He’s taking a liberal Democratic ground, because that’s what he is. Your millionaire candidate, Bernie, fully supports him.

Biden’s potential voters voted him as the nominee over your guy. He supports an Expansion of ACA and a Climate Plan. https://joebiden.com/climate-plan/#

The Sunrise Movement, which supported Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders in the Democratic primary, in April called on Biden to adopt the frameworks of the Green New Deal. When Biden released the new plan July 14, the group tweetedits support.

If by "liberal Democrat" you mean rapacious and corrupt puppet of the oligarchy, I agree with you.

Bernie is not my candidate, lmao. I held my nose while I voted for him and I don't give a flying fadoodle about who he thinks I should vote for.

Yes, Biden supports an expansion of the ACA... In other words, a continuation of the deaths of poor people who can't afford healthcare.

Regardless of whatever the Sunrise Movement has said, his plan is not good enough. Just because someone good endorses something doesn't mean that thing that they endorsed is any good.

He won't even ban fracking, ffs.

By all means, vote for the racist rapist in blue, but let's not misrepresent his record to make him look better.

So, Bernie isn’t even good enough for you. You supported him in the past.

Your views are so far out there.

Stay home on Nov. 3rd and wallow in anger and bitterness.

I'm on the radical left.

I'm a socialist. What can I say?

To be clear, Biden is pretty radical in terms of his right-wing views and you're comfortable voting for him. You don't have a problem with radicalism. You have a problem with radical left views.

Also, if this is the voter outreach of Biden supporters "Stay home on Nov. 3rd and wallow in anger and bitterness," you're going to lose just like you did in 2016. And I won't feel sorry.

And this is why it's crucial that anyone who is undecided or thinking about staying home needs to vote for Biden.

Trump will try to claim the election was rigged if he seems to be losing. There's not a doubt in my mind it will happen. And if he seems to be ahead on election night, he will use his team of lawyers to try and stop the counting of any subsequent absentee ballots, claiming that they're all fraudulent. Keep in mind, he will have no proof of this.

So, the bigger the margin in votes between Biden and him, the less room he has to claim foul play, and the less likely the court will be to give him anything if he tries it.

Biden is a Democrat, he is not right-Wing.

I’m not trying to reach out to you in anyway to vote. You are a hopeless case. I won’t feel sorry for you when your rights are stripped away and you suffer from your inaction. You enabled your own problems.

The democratic party is a right-wing corporatist party owned by oligarchs. I'm sorry that they have falsely convinced you otherwise.

If you're not reaching out for my vote, then what are you doing? Wasting your time? Couldn't be me, sweetie.

I, because I'm not an as*hole, will feel bad for you regardless of which racist rapist attempts to strip away your rights (they both will).

The Democratic Wing is left-Wing. I’m sorry you believed your opinion made something true.

Providing facts and links.

Biden won’t impact my rights. Trump will. That’s why I’m voting for the candidate that best aligns with my values.

Honey, if the Democratic party was “left-wing,” like you say, I would support them. The problem is that they’re a right-wing party.

If the Democrats are left-wing (they’re not), what are the socialists, communists, anarchists, etc.?

The most basic right imaginable, the right to life, will not be secured with Biden. There will be thousands of preventable deaths even if he successfully implements his terrible health care plan.

You can vote for whoever the f*ck you want. But please stop lying. We have to be better than this.

I’d recommend checking your privilege when you can resign to not voting because you aren’t happy with either. One isn’t putting children in cages, signal boosting white supremacists and straight up ignoring human rights violations against black people. One isn’t straight up authoritarian and making an enemy of the press. They are not alike, at all. If you’re unable to put your purity test aside to help avoid a cataclysmic outcome for people less fortunate than you, then you’ve failed us. There is no purity test to take after November 3rd if Donald Trump is elected.
