Everything colored in Red is what The British empire still had at that point. That eastern portion of Canada is the Labrador province. So, that red colored piece of Papua New Guinea you spotted was actually the same country as the eastern part of Canada. The British Empire was crazy big. Sunday she officially surpassed the previous record of oldest living person for someone in Japan. That person that was previously the oldest died a while ago.
