Technically he is a man who is married to a gay man and when he came out he said he ā€œstill fancies girls but is dating a guy right nowā€ so I guess heā€™sĀ bi but heā€™s Gayā„¢ļø if that makes sense.

Ā

First James Bond to be in a gay marriage is still revolutionaryĀ

:enigma:

He is married to a woman and has children!!!! why would you post something like that??
he flirted with bi sexuality in the beginning of his career in photoshoots. and some interviews that's it.
And in the end it's no ones business. But let him clear it up himself:

Just read you mistook him for tom daley, ignore my post šŸ˜‚

Im not very much here for it.Ā

Im predicting a more casual, rustic, quietĀ  etc boring. At least daiel craig had some flair.Ā

What a bummer. Its not like tom hardy is half bad, its just that hes always forgetable, for me. Theres no magnetism

Pass. The only reason to make those is to get the Oscar which we already have.

It feels weird that they would announce the new actor when the current movie, No Time to Die, hasn't even hit theatres yet.

Wouldn't it make more sense for people to celebrate Daniel Craig one last time before they let someone else take the shine?

Also Tom is an amazing actor, he needs to start taking upĀ more Oscar roles and fewer action blockbusters like this and Venom.

Iā€™d rather have $10m a film than an Oscar, thx

edit: actually DC made $50m for spectre and probably more moving forward soooo ya Iā€™d DEF rather that than an oscar

$10m for a movie is considered a flop

Born This Way

I don't really believe this article. NTTD isn't out yet and Itā€™s very unlikely they wouldĀ announce the next actor before it's release. But I'm gonna explain why ti don't like this choice even though I do like Tom Hardy.

He's justĀ too old to play James Bond, imo, sorry. Especially at the rate they've been making James Bond movies with Daniel Craig. He's 43 right now which if fine but this role is at least a 10 year commitment (unless you're George Lazenby or Timothy Dalton). Tom is 6 years older than Craig was when he was filming Casino Royale and there's only been 4Ā movies in the 14 years since then and he's already in his 50s. I really don't want another James Bond who's nearing 60 like Roger Moore in A View To A Kill, that was a damn mess.

But hey, maybe they could find a way to make James Bond movies at a faster rate and we do end up with like 4 movies by 2020 with him in it. But I doubt it.Ā

Idris Elba is also too old for everyone who's saying him. He's already 47 so it's the same problem but even worse. Maybe if this was 2012 back when people started fan casting him but at this point, definitely not.Ā

Henry Cavil is a good age to start playingĀ Bond, he's the same age right now that Daniel Craig started at. But I think Richard Madden is like the best choice. He's 3 years younger than Henry and he isn't possibly attached to play a franchise character like Superman. Also, I'm quaking at an actor who isn't straight playing him, love that.Ā

But I wouldn't be mad at all if it is Tom Hardy. He's hot (and he was a Myspace thotĀ :nooo:). I would just really f***in hope they don't go with storylines about him being old like they've done with Daniel Craig since Skyfall when he was literally Tom's age right now.

No honey, not how much the movie makes, how much the actor is paid per movie.Ā
Ā

An actor commanding a $10m salary for a movie is far from a flop.

Wait. But Bond won't be 007 anymore. Didn't they already choose a black woman to be 007. I'm confused.Ā

Love him as an actor and I support this.

But, I am disappointed, I was 10000% on board for Idris Elba.Ā

They did, but not the way you think it is.

Turns out not as permanent addition. Remember in that spy agency, no agent is permanent fixture, even M, just the codename is.Ā

You're talking about short-term profit, I'm talking about longevity.

Riz AhmedĀ

Idris ElbaĀ

Henry CavillĀ

Robert PattinsonĀ

Aidan TurnerĀ

Ā

All better options in my opinionĀ :enigma:

I see Tom Hardy more as a villain, than as James BondĀ
