Jose P 23,341
It really is so amazing. And to anyone who says it doesn’t fit Chromatica, this actually IS the exact same concept of Chromatica. It’s not just about this planet and having pink alien stuff. It’s not that superficial and never was. It’s about a state of mind, a mental place you go to to escape your trauma. And that’s exactly what you see here, but with different approach. I personally think it was a stroke of genius. Y’all can get your futuristic space thing later on.

LordByron28 992
I think it's amazing. It is high art, high fashion, conceptually interesting and her acting was superb. The ending subtly explains all of the weird things that just happened. The director did an overall great job with editing and direction as well. This is Gaga in her element and probably the most ARTPOP thing she has ever done. The music video storyline is reminiscent of Paparazzi & Telephone era videos in terms of basic entertainment and understanding. The film strikes the right balance between being symbolic and literal for the general public. In terms of the film direction, editing, fashion, song choice, etc it is probably her best video since Judas. Although unlike Alejandro, Judas and G.U.Y. it isn't a long length video with barely understandable plots. Also unlike Alejandro and Judas she incorporates Catholic/Christian imagery without being offensive and ties it into Healthcare workers, whichis a nice subtle touch. Only critique is not having a few dance sequences with some dancers. Such as in her blue and red outfits scenes a dance sequence would've added a little something to the scene. However, that is one tiny critique for a film that overall I enjoyed.
pop ate my heart 2,865
this is why Gaga is my favorite artist of all time. she introduces the GP to these super avant-garde, obscure surrealist art of all cultures and generations through pop music and pop formats, while still making it make sense with her own music and concepts, which shows us it comes from an authentic artistic place. there's no one like her rn, she's the Bowie of our generation fr. the same thing he did with rock, she's doing with pop and it's just pure genius and inspiring. this is what she's always done from 2008 to 2014. this is ARTPOP am i-e-i-e-i-e-i-e-i-e-i-p-plastic

Wet Fire 7,001
To turn one's experience of mental and physical pain into such a creative, bizarre, artsy music video...I just love and respect her so much.
wook 906
I just talked with my friend about the video. She is not a LM but she told me that Gaga artistry is out of this world and the music video is on another level. I explained to her what the video is about and all the references. I was a little confused at first watch but after another one I wanted to cry. This is one of my favourite story from Gaga’s personal experiences and it just shows that no one can do what she does. She is just a legend. The video is 11/10 for me.
